Thinking about Buying a Playstation 3... i need reasons!

Guys, i have a 360, my girlfriend has a wii and now i am thinking about buying a PS3. I need some reasons guys, and dont say metal gear solid!! hate that series lol.

Persuade you? Why not do some research on the games that are out, and that are coming out, and see if they interest you enough to buy one?

Nobody should be able to persuade you to buy one, you need to gauge your interest in the machine and it's software, then make a decision.

And it has/will have a lot of great games and plays BR movies. Oct 10 there's a $399 40gb PS3 coming out without PS2 BC.

2) It looks expensive and slick.

3) Gran Turisimo, Final Fantasy, Ratchet & Clank, Uncharted, killzone 2, Haze, UT3.

4) Free online.

5) Full downloadable games like Warhawk & Socom.

6) Huge back catalog.

7) Blu-ray IF your into HD movies.

8) Home.

9) Eye Of Judgement IF your into card games.

10) Sixaxis is pretty fun IF you have the patience to learn to use it well.

There you go must be something in there.

Resistance, Motorstorm, Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Lair, Heavenly Sword, Uncharted, Haze, FF13, FFversusXIII, Unreal Tournament 3, PS eye, Eye of Judgement, super stardust HD, Warhawk!!!!. 1080p gaming thru HDMI, Free online play, built in Hard drive with EVERY unit, Bluetooth wireless controllers, 1% failure rate, Blu-Ray player (worth it when you watch in high def) movies. Dude, take that money and buy games for the 360 and about 10,000 Wii points, or spend it on her, either way you'll have more fun.

Or just wait and see how far the price drops. Unless you've just got to play one of the games out now, wait and see what shakes in 2008.
