Thinking about buying a PS3

Hey guys, I've long been an Xbox fan but now I'm seriously conidering buying a PS3 since I have some extra cash around, and I also really want a Blu-Ray player. I've been looking and so far it looks like my only two options are either getting the refurbished 40GB from gamestop for $230 or getting the 120GB PS3 Slim for $300 from basically anywhere. Are there not any places that have some cool bundle deals going on right now? I looked everywhere but couldn't seem to find any.

Any and all advice to a PS3 noob would be appriciated

Yeah, there aren't really much for bundles, though you can get an Uncharted 1 + controller or Ratchet and Clank + controller for $55, which is a good deal, if you want an extra controller. The $299.99 for the 120GB Slim is a great deal, I'd just go with that. 120 gigs will last you a long while, and they're easy to upgrade.

GoW3, MGS4, Final Fantasy XIII (the PS3 version, in case you also have the other syste, which shall remai nameless), Valkyria Chronicles, Demon's Souls, Uncharted 2 = good times.

Try Ebay.com for PS3 bundles. Usually people bundle PS3 when they sell them.

$300 is good for a 120g Slim. Over here in Blighty its £249 on its own. Saying that, I've got a phat ol' skool 40G, & its not let me down as yet. Good luck with your choice.
