Thinking about getting a PS3...help

So I think I've finally decided to get a PS3. I've done some looking around and decided to get the 299 model but I'm just having a really hard time spending that much money on another system when I have a Wii, 360, and PS2 already, especiially knowing I have to buy a new set of games right away too. My question is how much cheaper do they generally get over the holidays? Would it be worth it to wait untill christmas topick one up or will they be about the same price. Also does anyone think that then they launch Move there will be a price cut on the stand alone systmes without move? Thanks for any input.

If you mean christmas holidays then i got my PS3 slim about a month after release with 2 free games for £10 cheaper than the console alone... Shop around and do some digging into special offers you'll save a good bit by doing that.. Plus my free games were LBP and Uncharted 2 so even better!! Just have a look around you'll find something nice...

Thanks for the advice. I was thinking about waiting for Black Friday but its one of those days I hate to leave my house. People go nuts around here and you can hardly get around town especially because of huge outlet mall. Maybe I'll brave the hoards though and check it out.

Well i bought mine yesterday for £259.99 for a 120GB Slim PS3 with mafia 2, which for me im happy with.
