Thinking about selling my PS3?

I never really play on it, and i really want a PC. I need to save just under £500 for a PC and selling the PS3 would help me dearly.

I have a 40GB unit, two controllers and HDMI Cable. Little Big Planet and WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2008. I wont make a great amount, but any amount is better than nothing!

just sell it then if you want a PC i have to admit i wouldn't do it though. pc has not got many great games in my opinion.shadowkiller11

Look mate, PC is good because I have it and experience it but I also have a PS3 which as awesome games. I recommend that you try to invest in more games and good games.

The main reason i want to is for The Sims 2. My fave game ever lol

That isn't the only reason though, id like to get a start on my machinima that i have been writing for months, my current laptop wont be powerful enough to edit it.

Also, i have an Xbox 360 which i do play on more. But even that i haven't been on in a while.

I'm pretty sure my laptop wasn't made for games. Yeah, it's pretty weak. Why i want a PC : )

You might regret it later, so I'd think about it a lot before selling it. If you reallt want to sell it though put it on ebay, you'll get a lot more money for it.

Depends on how old you are, if your under 18 sell it. one less kid playing adult games

i dunno man from what i have read from you, i have a feeling you would regret selling your ps3.

if you want to play the sims, and your laptop can't even play its time you got a new computer anyway.

hmm you have an xobx 360 aswell, that you don't play, why note sell that instead, i mean most of the good exclusives that come on that system are on pc anyway, where as exclusives on the ps3 are more likely to stay that way.

Don't take the easy way out. If you want a PC don't sell your ps3 because you might see a lot more games you want for it but it'll be too late because you sold it. Its not likely that after you sell it your going to get it again. So work for it maybe if you get good grades or something or someone who will pay you, can have a pc and ps3 which is a really nice combo. Plus why would you sell the ps3 when it has Resistance, Killzone 2, Infamous, MGS, Drakes fortune, etc. Try to work for the PC. People who wait for things they want enjoy those things much more then people who get what they want quickly.

You're game collection is looking a little weak. You're missing a lot of the essentials. But, if you need a PC for stuff other than gaming (school, work, etc.) than you should probably invest towards that.
