thinking of buying a PS3 next year.

So can anyone tell me of any decent EXCLUSIVE games that are worth getting ?

I say exclusive because i allready own an XBOX360. I mainly want it for the blu ray, but thought a PS3 would be better rather than just getting a blu ray player.

All the PS3 exclusives are Amazing, I don't know where to even begin...

I think if your gonna be a new PS3 owner you should get MGS4 first, every new PS3 owner should get MGS4 first

I've never played any of the MGSs in my life, and I got to admit... the entire game I was like: "Why is snake so F'N old":P

but still, MGS4 is a masterpiece everyone should enjoy.

Thanks guys, unfortunatly im not keen on Metal Gear Solid as im not a big fan of stealth games, find them too frustrating. Thanks for your suggestions :)

Oh and I think i overheard someone at my college saying you could download games from the ps1/ps2 era? if thats the case then wow!! that is cool :)

If MGS is not your cup of tea, that's fine but you shouldn't miss out on games like: Uncharted 1 & 2, Heavy Rain, Infamous, and of course the God of War series.

Why don't you tell us what games you like for the 360, that way we can suggest something similar from the PS3 exclusives? Who knows you might enjoy LBP and Modnation Racers too!

I would like to second the mention of Ratchet and Clank. Age rating doesn't take away from a game being great. Killzone is also a pretty good game if you enjoy FPS games.

The PS3 has the most exclusives of any system. All you have to doe is go to gamestop.com and click on *PS3 games* and *view all* and look through to see them all. Also *coming soon* will show you all the ones coming up over the next 12 months.

There are enough games on the system to be worth your time. If you are going to buy something, buy it for what its primary function is.

You can pick up cool games like Ratchet and Clank, Resistance, Killzone 2, Infamous, Uncharted 1 and Demon's Souls for cheap. There is also Uncharted 2, Heavy Rain, Yakuza 3, God of War 3, 3D Dot Game Heroes, and Modnation Racers out.

Next year there is going to be a lot of game

Yakuza 4

Little Big Planet 2

The Last Guardian

That's 13 games coming next year that we know about.

If you are into fighters, I would get them on PS3 because of the D-pad.

The reason why some people are being hostile is because people come in here every week and ask if the PS3 is worth it, or what are the exclusives. No one ever asks this of the other systems, so they think you are bad mouthing the system. The system has been out 4 years and still gets crapped just because of how it lauched.

• Resistance: Fall of Man

Uncharted, Metal gear solid 4, Infamous, and Demon's Souls.

You should get MGS4 first, then Uncharted 1 & 2. Include Demon's Souls if you'd like a challenge, GT5 if you're a racing game fan, and MAG if you'd like to experience 256-player matches. There's a lot of choices, so you'll have no difficulty in choosing great games to play.

inFamous is the best PS3 game ever released also GOW 3 and uncharted2 Killzone i h8 1st person shooters bt i totaly loved KZ2 especially the online multiplayer u should also gt Assassin creed Brotherhood and GT5

You should try out MGS4, its an amazing game, even if you dont like stealth games, because you can play it like a third person shooter like I did. I dont like stealth games much either, so MGS4 was the first MGS I have bought, and I was blown away how good it is. Probably the best ps3 game to date in my opinion, never thought i d say that, considering I tried MGS games on the ps2 and didnt like them...

The exclusives you MUST buy:

MGS4

Both Ratchet and Clank games (really entertaining and funny games, makes you glad:) )

Infamous(gets better and better,great story)

Killzone 2( a little overrated, but a well polished fps)

Uncharted 1 and 2( feels like your playing blockbuster movies)

Little Big Planet ( no point in buying the first one now, wait for the second)

Demons Souls(really hard, but very addictive because you feel you have acomplished something when you kill the bosses)

Valkyria Chronicles (overlooked,unique game which draws you in)

Heavy Rain (an emotional journey, one of a kind)

GT5 (even if the layout is oldfashioned, its still the best car simulator)

God of War 3, GoW Collection

Sly collection

Others you may consider:
