Thinking of buying patapon, a few questions for you

Both games are on the store, should I buy number 1 first?

If yes, is patapon 1 still on UMD? I did a quick google search and saw that p2 was umd less

I'd suggest you buy part 2. It almost feels like deja-vu from the first one. They are very similar but the second one offers more in terms of levels and the hero. It also has multiplayer. The story is also fairly similar and there is going to be a third patapon game just not sure when.

So if you'd like the classic one you can get part 1 but I wouldn't recommend part 2 with the purchase of part 1 (unless you suddenly become a fan) because they are just too similar to be worth the purchase of both.

Sorry forgot to answer the other question. Yes it is still on umd. Not sure if they are still making it though. You'd have to search for a store that is selling it.

Personally I played patapon and didn't really like it. but maybe I just need to try it again.

Dont worry about patapon 1. I can tell you the plot in 2 sentences. Get patapon 2 as its more indepth and easier. Great game IMO and I recommend everyone to at least play the demo.
