Thinking of getting a PSP ... 2000 or 3000 ?

I'm thinking of getting a PSP, I don't like the PSP Go and I don't want to wait a few months, so I'm thinking between PSP 2000 or the PSP 3000.

I've heard that a lot people have scan-lines problems on PSP 3000, are they that much of a problem ? Does 3000 look much better than 2000 (in colors/graphics) ?

Which should I get ?

I just got a PSP 3000 yesterday and man oh day was I impressed. I love this little thing. There are some flaws to it and yes you can see scan lines. But the scan lines arn't that really big of a deal.

I can't really compare the 2 systems because I never seen them together.

The only other issues I have with the 3000 is the UMD and Battery doors move all around when you play. Kinda scares me... Think they are going to pop off or something. Never held a 2000, so I can't really tell you how that feels.

But if your only worried about scan lines... I don't think it's that much of an issue.

I had the origonal which is the same as the 2000 besides thicker I traded it in toward the 3000 when i got home I could'nt tell much diiference of the games only with the pyshical console. After playing it for ages my brother showed me something on his and the screen looks all dark and dullcompared to mine so the crystal screen is really good. I would definetly go for the 3000

I personnaly think they are the same.

I have had every PSP since its release(with the exception of the Go!). Personally I think the 3000 is the best unit of all. The 2000 to me had too many little design flaws in the ergonomics that really annoyed me. The faceplate would crackinodd places for no reason, the analognubgot wonky after about a month of use, and theshoulder buttons didn't work half thetime. I treat my electronicslike gold, soIcould not understand forthe life of me why they had all these issues. Not to mention if I wanted to play outside I couldn't because of all the glare. The 3000 yes has that small scanline issue, but you barely ever notice it and itreally is not that big of a deal if you do. The finish on the 3000 Piano Black model to me is MUCH more scratch resistant than the Piano Black 2000. I would just suggest the 3000, it's just a better unit all around in my opinion.

Get the 3000 even tho its only got a few different things to the 2000 you might aswell get the newer version

my 3000 broke because it was to light......... so i bought a 2000 with the warrinity! the bright screen is the only good thing about 3000 get a 2000 instead.Plus its cheaper.sagax03

Cheaper where theyre the same price

Get the 3000!! i've done the comparison myself and result was obvious, 3k got more brighter screen.

I personally think they are the same.
