Thinking of Ps3

I'm thinking of getting a Ps3 this paycheck but not totally convinced. If I do get a ps3 what should my first game be? Also should I still get one or will it become outdated soon?

i don't think you have to worry about it being outdated. but if you already have a 360 i wouldn't say its worth it since most of the great games are multi-plat anyway imo. id say get it if you really want the exclusives like uncharted, MGS4 and so on. and i guess free online is a plus side. other than that i wouldn't really recommend it if you already have a 360, but if not then yeah definately go for it.

Well there's nothing to be convinced about, you either want to play the games and have the perks of the system or you don't. First game should most definitely be Uncharted. Though it looks like you have a 360, in which case I would say no it's not worth it - on the other hand I think PS3 has much better service, exclusives and features and would suggest selling your 360 to get one then it'd be worth it lol.

Do you watch a lot of movies, especially blu-rays? If you do, think of getting a PS3 as a blu-ray player with extra perks (i.e it can also play games). LOL. And don't worry about the system becoming outdated soon. I think this is the best time to get a PS3 if you haven't already gotten one. Reason is plain and simple...all the great games that made PS3 what it is today are for the most part under $20. The huge PS3 game library should keep you busy until the next gen console comes out (which I hear isn't going to happen until at earliest 2014. Initially they were rumored to come out in 2013, but from what I read the recent release of Wii U had sent both Sony and Microsoft back to the drawing board to redesign their next consoles....can anyone confirm this?)

I mainly want dust 514 and to play with my little brothers also the blu ray is a giant plus for me.

MGS4, Uncharted, Heavy Rain, God of War, Resistance and lots of other brilliant exclusives. So YES, getting a PS3 is an absolute must.
