Don't sell it. The PS3's era has just begun. Think of all the games you will miss in 2008 and 2009. There are TONS of people playing online and I have never had any problems with bad language. PowerOfSoul

Here's my opinion... I bought into the Xbox360 for the reasons that it had a longer shelf life at the time, there was alarger game library, and the online had more to offer.. Well I just sold it, and bought a PS3, looking towards the near and distant future. This console will have everything you can want in the sameamount of timeit took the Xbox360 to build up its bases.

The PS3 is going to own 2008 and 2009. I don't think there can be any argument made against that. If ofcourse things like Home, LittleBigPlanet, MGS4, and some of the other hyped games or features are as much of a success as they are hype right now.

Keep it, and you will thank yourself soon enough.

1. Nobody online - COD4, Vegas, GRAW2, Motorstorm, COD3, Warhawk... always have people online
2. bad language - that isn't everyone
3.almost no friends - that is more your fault than anything else

I say sell it then.

I would keep it solely because it's the best blu-ray player still. A better bluray player will likely cost more than you'll make selling it for the next year at least. Current bluray players can take up to 4 minutes to load a movie.(all of them, confirmed by sony style) A PS3 only takes about a min and a half at worst. There are other things that make the PS3 better for that as well.

As for the games.. suck it up and buy a 360. Halo 3 is the best online game period.. there's a very good reason hundreds of thousands of people are online at the same time every day, all day. That will likely continue for years as it has before. There's usually50k to 100k people playing unranked team slayer alone.... because it doesn't get old. As for other games... just do a search on all the 360 games ranked 8.0 and above on gamespot.

Last word.. you'll be sorry if you sell your PS3 after paying through the nose for it. You might as well enjoy being a blu-ray early adopter... There's always Solid Snake's return in a few months as well.

There's hardly anyone online? That's news to me. I never have a problem finding a game. And if you have no friends online, how can you blame that on the console? It sounds like a personal problem. Besides, if you hardly have any friends on PSN, then hardly anybody will care if you sell your PS3 anyway.

So what's the point of this thread? Do you want people to convince you to keep it?

keep it,the fighting games will come soon and there isnt much fighting on the other consoles anyway.
