Thinking of upgrading PS3 Hard drive. Would this work?

Two things

1)Serial ATA or SATA

2)2.5" (usually the ones found in laptops)

I think recommended speed should be above 5400rpm because thats PS3 stock HDD`s speed.I would suggest to try a raptor 10,000 rpm.

i bought the same hard drive and the same amount of gb but dont expect to much when you

install i was left with 202gb but it cost me $100 how cool is that i bought it a store name

^the hdd link you provided is compatible with the PS3.

There isnt any difference between Serial ATA and SATA ..SATA is the short of Serial ATA.
