third person action games

Ninja Gaiden Sigma is a must own. It'll be very reasonably priced now too.

Enslaved: Odyssey to the West. It's not for everyone, but you might enjoy it.

Fist of the North Star: Ken's Rage.

Definitely the Ninja Gaiden Sigma 1-2 and the third game, God of War series, Heavenly Sword, Devil May Cry HD series.

Darksiders 1 & 2, Sleeping Dogs, Batman AA & AC, Saints Row teh 3rd, Lollipop Chainsaw, Captain America, Green Lantern, XMen Origins Wolverine, Dante's Inferno, Bully Scholarship Edition, Blades Of Time, Prototype 1 & 2, Knights Contract, Enslaved, Infamous 1 & 2 and Prince Of Persia TFS.

I have played and enjoyed all of these.

Batman AA, Darksiders 2, Saints Row 3rd , Sleeping Dogs and Infamous were simply awesome.

100% back up this recommendation. Awesome titles! The ninja Gaiden recommendations are spot on too. Those games offer a decent challenge, but in a very good/welcome way. It may be obvious, but if you haven't tried the God of War titles, they are well worth your time, too.

Also, the Assassins Creed titles are well worth your time, but make sure to play them in order to truly appreciate the story. :)
