well I tried fixin it by pastin it to separate it but no text showed up but if ur lookin for a summary then basically the ps3 needs to come up with somethin because they are sucking. I was just gettin pissed off cuz I expected replies on the topic, not every single person telling me its unreadable thats why I found it annoying.unknowndrk

Anyway, GS translated the article wrong, since it only said Final Fantasy. There are 7 FF games under development, 3 for next gen consoles.  

With all of these announcements of devil may cry 4 goin crossplatform and final fantasy 13 possibly going crossplatform I am feelin pretty choked. It will be interesting to see what sony will do in producing their own games to give others a big reason to buy their system, but for sony's sake I think they need to find a way to keep final fantasy 13 an exclusive to their system.

I think its a key game in their sales especially in japan but if it does come to the 360 I wonder how many discs it will be? cuz apparently it will be taking up a lot of space. I understand the production costs for games now but come on square-enix, your game is going to sell in massive amounts and u know it, but I guess it doesnt really matter to them about what the fate of the ps3 is.

Well I am sure many of u guys out there are feelin crappy about this news cuz we didnt buy a ps3 based on that loyalty crap, hell if the ps3 isnt gonna step up and make good games then in my opinion its just a good bluray player thats presenting the world with wasted talent and potential with its advanced hardware, especially the bluray technological part. Like seriously..your high definition format is winning easily out there, why not give the world better reasons to buy your console from a gaming perspective? They need to get off their asses and start doing something and quit showing us Home, or other promises that doesnt point in the direction to new games.

I own all 3 consoles but I just find it annoying when one of my consoles just gets the dust cleaned off of it every few days with not much of a reason to turn it on. Don't get me wrong, the blu-ray player is amazing, so I get to watch some nice HD movies in it, but the bottom line is that it was supposed to be released as a gaming console and I guess everyone is going to tell me that it hasnt been out for very long but Microsoft presented us with future promises like gears of war, mass effect, halo 3, fable 2, and so forth. they expressed to audiences that they have big plans for the future.

So far sony has only shown mgs 4, heavenly sword, ff 13 (which may not even be exclusive anymore) and what else? gran turismo 5? how many decades will that take to come out? we recieve zero updates on these future games and mostly everything is cross platform. I dont count assassins creed or the cross platform stuff because it doesnt offer a unique offering for the console, it can be played on the 360. So right now overall I think the 360 is much better for games than the ps3 and Sony better get up and do something but since they put in no effort due to their success in the past, maybe this is the appropriate wake up call for these dumbasses.

Like wtf I am just sick of this **** dont get me wrong guys, I want sony to do well but right now it deserves to be flamed since it offers us little compared to the 360. I want all the systems to do well and have their own unique titles on each but right now that doesnt seem to be the case. sorry for the rant but this is just pissin me off.unknowndrk

If you read the news article it says talks are going for making FF PS3 exclusive.  This of course doesn't mean that if talks are bad that it will go to other consoles, it just means that they can if they want to.

Do you have a link to the french text? Maybe we can find a frenchman, haha. Anyway, I'm sure that even if they did, Fornay meant that they were in discussions to solidify its exclusivity. He's a sony vice president! I don't think he would depart that kind of news the day before the launch!

It is a huge game for them and for their sake I think they should take action on this one. Final Fantasy is a great series. I wonder how many dvd discs it will take for them to make it. I am sure square-enix will come up with something brilliant to only make it like 2 discs or somethin knowing them.

I read it from the site cause I had french classes. You cant enter the site unless you subscribe. It basically says what GS reported only that the FF issue never mentioned a number. It must be about FF vs XIII, but a french c CEO wont be taking care of this issues. He just wanted attention.

I did not read the rest of the posts so I did not realize alot of other people made that point. I automatically replied when I read his first response. Just throwing that out there before people say something about how someone paraphrased it and what have you.

The post was not that hard to read, everyone just feals like being an **** because they don't like people complaining about their favorite system in the whole wide world.

I, however, agree with it. Right at this moment, all there is to play is resistance - yeah half life 2 was great. And all that there is in the future is MS4. And someone else said to look at what has not been announced yet? Sounds like you people are a little to hopeful. I have a PS3 and I can honestly say that I don't hate it, but it is a little disapointing. Somepeople want it to be so cool that they get super defensive.

First off: Shut up about this topic needing paragraphs

Second: I agree with you and I do also wish PS3 would deliever more, but I see this thing really start kicking ass later on. Also on a side note, as an owner of the next-gen consoles I have found a few things:

1. The Wii is great fun (fun at parties), but I found myself only waiting for the Nintendo-made Mascot games

2. The 360 is my #1 choice... at the moment, but my gaming library (14 in counting) is about 70% shooting games, which loses out in variety, but even that's changing slowly

3. The PS3 is the only one in my book that is fleshing out games of variety, but with bad ratings. I see so much potential in this console and I give props to LiitleBigPlanet and Heavenly Sword. However if things are going as they are, Sony is just going to keep on getting negative press.

Also I hate to be the black sheep in this, but if Final Fantasy or any other games start going multiplatform, Please for the love of God, don't act as if the world ended. Look at the world as it is (MONEY and MORE MONEY), it was bound to happen. I know its dissicult not to, I mean can you imagine this:

Sorry that's my little rant and I know you all have different opinions, but that is how I see this whole gaming generation as. A stupid war where everyone plays dirty.

As much as I want to beat you over the head with a tire iron for making me read this wall of text, you make a very good point. Sony is in big trouble this time and they really shoudl do whatever it takes to keep FF13 exclusive because guess what happens if they don't. Japanese gamers will finally have a great reason to buy the 360 and if Sony looses their home turf to them, then they might as well just get the F out of the gaming business.CaptainCrazy
