I need adivce. I have the money for the Ps3 but im not sure what to get. A HD T.V or the Ps3. What shall i doooo.

Start with the ps3 man... so u have something to do while u wait to get your better tv for it.

if i needed someone to twist my arm into buying a ps3 i would consider thaturgent.

yes get the ps3.  then weep with the knowladge that you aren't seeing the graphics as good as they could be and save like mad for that hdtv.

Wait till PS5 to come out, in the mean time get a bluray-player player ......

exactly.  all you can do is look at it.

If you get the ps3 first you'll never be able to afford the tv.  The ps3 just causes you to pour more and more of your $$ into it, in the form of games and playstation online subscription.  stave off immediate gratification until you have enough for both.  it is the only way

Rationally, since the game currently on the market are not exactly the latest gaming experience, save your money. Don't even buy a TV if don't have the proper support (HD cable tv or satellite, dvd player, etc), generally HDTV first impression is disappointing for lack of HD content on normal tv (US are ahead in this).

Playing currently released PS3 games on NON-HDTV kills good 40% to the overall experience. The only real unmissable even on 14" is Oblivion that most of us played on Xbox. I don't really know if I ever had wasted the same amount of time on Motorstorm w/o my LCD.

However, I got a PS3 on launch date (UK) evening knowing that I wouldn't really start playing it before a while.
