This is why Killzone 2 will own when it comes out.

WarGeneral said: I was one of the few lucky bastards who got invited to Holland to playtest Killzone 2. I had sit on a plane for about 9 hours, but when I stepped of the plane, headed into the office building, and picked up the controller, I didn't want to leave.

I'm under the NDA here so I'll be precise without giving anything "Away". First off lets cut the **** Do not EVER compare COD4 to KZ2. The Latter rapes the **** out of it. Are we good? No more? Yes? No? Maybe so? Ok now.

I pick up my controller, and I start seeing some of the most beautiful art I've seen. (And I'm not talking about gaming I'm talking art in GENERAL). The Games attention to detail is so good, when you stop sprinting you can **** see the SWEAT ON HIS HANDS DRY UP. Now we get to the action. The action was some of the most epic kick ass, moments in gaming. IF killzones last six missions are like the First, this may become an instant ****c. First of the Helghast look good, and there **** smart. They will chase you when your reloading, flank you, when you don't expect, your allies are actually useful, (Hell they've saved my ass a few times).

The death animations....Jesus....I snuck up on a guy and shot in the back of the head a magnum just to see what he'd do. The dude not only reached for it slowly like he was trying to see if it was there, but the blood actaully stained his **** clothes, and blood flew down on the ground untill the appropiate force stopped it. You think Linear levels are now **** now? Play the third mission and you'll be wishing Far Cry 2 was Linear.

Now I get to the end and then OMG Mech comes out of **** nowhere and kills a squad member, and you have to take this **** out. I was stuck and I couldn't figure out how to beat him. (YEs it's the same Mech from the trailer.) EVERY time I died it changed it's strategy, and I couldn't figure it out, as it never repeated itself.

It's not without it's problems (But if I told you them it would give away WAY too much of the game. One of them is the weather is overpowered. You'll find out what I mean on Dec 4th. My mouth stays shut till then. Happy killing. Run along back to your betas kiddies :P. I'm gonna go Helghast hunting. I need a new trophy. Killzone is here, and it will stay in your PS3 for a LOOOOOOONNNNNG time.

Sounds cool. But yes, who is this WarGeneral guy, and what gives him the credibility for me to care what he thinks?

Hmm, after a having a good long think about it, i think i can answer your question...sort of. You see, WarGeneral is a metaphorical thing. Like, WarGeneral is a thing that is apart of all of us, however it does represent also single entity. You follow me?

Correct! Now, i don't want to alarm you, but while studying algebraic group and ring theory, I may have discovered a way to destroy WarGeneral!!! By using the so called "Lagarange Interpolation"methods and taking into account the effects of Differential Cryptanalysis on a 8 rounds DES (approximately, that is), you can see that WarGeneral may have one, and ONLY one weakpoint.

Of course! Its so obvious! All those easy-to-follow equations point to only one thing! His weak spot is his......boob? wait wait wait, that cant be right. OH yes, here we go. Its his left vendorsical phalagmite.

Personally I thought Killzone was pretty average...

I seem to be in the minority though.  Its ok, it happens to me alot.

I got the info from Gametrailers.com killzone thread. Of course I'm not sure if he is 100% credible, but you guys can check it out for yourself. Every single media, news, and beta player reviews has praise this game like crazy. and from the vids, this game looks like its going to deliver the goods.

btw, I think the dec 4th date is when the embargo is lifted and the media can start talking and reporting about the previews of the first 6 SP levels that they've already had a chance to play.

WarGeneral isn't too smart.

Horrible punctuation and expletives litter his testimony.

If he were trying to sell me the game, I wouldn't buy it, let alone pray to him.

This guy sounds like he has almost no credibility. Doesn't make me any less excited for the game.

i really liked the first one. I mean it had its obvious flaws, like being too much for the ps2 to handle, but i played through it many times. And i go back and look at my stats now and am surprsied to see that i spent over 100 hours on its multiplayer...

this game will make gamers forget Gears of war, with their grey and brown environments, who sometimes become grey and brown and occasionnally grey and brown, whether it's a street, battlefield, this in daylight levels or night levels ; and let's not forget the ridiculous physics whre you bump in a jerrycan or a car with your vehicle and it reacts in the same way, bouncing the same distance with the same trajectory, and not forgetting the hole the bad guys exit from, collapsing and after you throw in a grenade the hole closes completely and the ground looks perfect, just like before the hole is created (I've seen some Star Trek SFW look better and more realistic).

The first Killzone had incredibly varied levels (the park, the ruined city, the military seashore ...) with vivid colors and the PS3 game will show a FPS can have nice artistic scenery, not GREY and BROWN everywhere.

Anybody else find some of the censored words couldnt really make sense??

I shall also point out that this thread is probably why people will be disappointed when Killzone 2 comes out.

So much hype cannot be a good thing. I'm not saying it won't be a great game, but not as great as everyone is seemingly expecting it to be.
