this made me happy

well a few days ago i went to target at the ps3 section and they said that for 1 day they would give away a ps3 game,360 game, or wii game for free for ... i dunoo the 109th person that went in the store that wanted it. Which was me :D so i went home with resistance fall of man for free... but no ps3 to play it on rofl :lol: im gonna try to buy it at eb games. if they have one in stock and they say "buy a 360" then i will yell at them until they fork it over. that happened to my friend... (off topic sry)

If I was to be handed my first PS3 game for free, i most certainly wouldn't argue with Resistance.  Thus far, its has been the best game on the system.  Good for you.

As to the hacks at the store, tell them you want a system that can output a completely digital signal (HDMI) and that won;t need to be sent to the shop every six months.  If that's what you request, all they'll have for you is a PS3.

When talking economics, it's pretty relitive. A $50,000 job in north america is a 50,000 pound job in the UK, we pay $1 for a pepsi, you pay 1 pound. So in terms of "paying more"... technically yes, the Japs will get more cash from the Brits thanks to exchange, but a Brit buying a console and a north american buying a console - well, it's going to leave a relitively equal sized hole in the pocket at the end of the day.

What really kills your budget in the UK is paying an extra 50 pence for freekin jam for your toast! I'm surprised you guys don't charge extra for toilet paper in public washrooms!

As for what the guy in Mexico was saying... yeah, danm... you guys are getting screwed!

In the end, who cares how much we pay - as long as it's what we wanted and are enjoying the console, that's all that matters!
