k so i go into best buy after work and there was only one copy left so i made my way over to it and some guy picks it up i was so pissed then he slowly put it back so i grabbed it as fast as i could then bought it and walked out. i get home throw it in and bam its sooo damn cool i cant wait to play it a game that i have waited for for along time well so im playing it and i just keep on getttn well saddend by how such a great game isnt that great im kinda thinkn that this maybe was a waist of money. its a cool game but just doesnt return much maybe im playing it wrong but does anyone else feel this way kinda pisses me off such an awsome game and in already thinkn about tradin it in any incite?
Well i dont personally own this game, but i can see your point. I mean, thats the whole reason i wasnt really interested in it, because it didnt appeal to me. Plus there isnt much replay value.
Dont get me wrong here, the gameplay and style looks cool, but its basically the same thing over and over..
I picked up my copy today, but haven't had a chance to play yet. Will be playing in about 20min. though.

Oh, I also got Uncharted today too. Figured I would play Assassin's Creed first as I have played the Uncharted demo, and have been itching to get my hands on AC.

You're right. Thats why IGN gave the game a 7.5. They said it was very repetitive and that it'll get boring pretty quick. They called it one of the "5 most disappointing games of all time". The game is a definite rent for me, I really want to play it.
I guess it just appeals to the person who plays the game...for example smackdown vs raw 2008...i bought it and i loved it but some people are bashing it...
probably because of all the hype and build up around it saying that it would be one of the greatest games ever made. then you expect it to live up to those lofty expectations when it doesn't.
maybe i just havent played it enough that or i am sick of it already well what the plan is i might just try and beat it then sell it because its not worthy to sit on my shelf that or i might grow to like it but right now its kinda not lookin so good oh and btw if i havent said i have had not framerate problems or any ot the such the game looks awsome and please rent and if your sure buy it im just trying to help thoes who just might take a leap of faith miss and fall again sorry to all those who enjoyed the game just puttn out my veiws

Very true.. i tried smackdown, and was immediately turned off. It's all about preferences... No reviewer is right or wrong.

Yeah I saw on the PSN that you were playing it. I just got it today too, and I am loving it. I think it is a great game, and I love how you can just climb everything. I think the game relies on personal tastes.

Good, just so you know... you need to reach like level 12 in COD4 to put up a clan tag. You reach it pretty fast though...
I know what you mean... it can get kinda boring, but for some reason I just cant get enough of it... I play for like 2-3 hours at a time... i dont know why... I guess it is still fun

I'd love to man but there ain no game renting service where I live. :( *Sigh* I can only get two more games this year. I already decided on getting Uncharted. Assassins does look really good from what I saw in GTs review (besides the crappy AI). But I've seen a lotta topics like this popping up about the game sucking a$$. Crap, now I gotta wait for rock band to get reviewed and hope it doesn't disappoint as well.
u know the game is great in my opinion, yes some parts i personally are repetitive, but i think it depends on the gamer, it mite be a game that someone likes alot, but to u, its MEH, ill rent it, to me think game is awsome, not 9.0 but maybe a 8.5, but i see wat u tryin to say, i like though
