How do I make my PS3 resolution better? I have a widscreen tv and its only 480i...what do I need to do/get?

by the way sometimes (most of the time) there will be black pixels around text and sometimes in game...

also go to system display settings on the ps home screne if youv not done so just pick out all the top settings and c if your tv can handle it if not just get the best settings possible if you dont have a hdmi cable you should get one. standard $15 is fine

Yup, just get an HDMI cable if your TV has an input (Component if not), and just go to display settings and click automatic, but it should already do it when you reset your display setting. (have to do it when you switch cables)

If the TV is only 480i, then I'm pretty sure that a component cable is the way to go for you. HDMI is for HD resolutions (at least 720p).
