not only do they not own one they probibly cant even afford one, thats half the reasion most people dont like the PS3 is becasue they will never be able to buy one.

so true bud, their just scared, the only thing better about the 360 is XBL (other than game selection at the moment) and now they dont even have that over us anymore. ther jealous and they are just hoping this crashs which i know it wont. they just like pissing us off.
yeah it is fanboys getting worried, which they should. If the wii mote puts nintendo wii at the time, then Playstation Home will crush that putting PS3 back on top.

I really don't know how anyone can even say sony copied wii or the 360. Sure there are similarities, but this is an original idea. I now see exactly what harrisson was talking about way back at E3 05 when he kept on talking about how the PS3 would act like myspace. He was foreshadowing HOME.

No matter what people where going to say they stole. It's the only "argument" a lot of fanboys have left to complain about the PS3. Granted yeah they did just basically give you a free MMOG like Second Life or There, but why is that such a big deal? Sure you can Mail you Miis to a friend but can you interact in a fully realized world of thousands of other Miis being controlled in real time? People asked for achievements like the 360. Sony gave them a whole freaking trophy room! How is that ripping off? All sony did is give people what they've been asking for... only better.

1. Rewarding the player for playing is the basic concept of what makes games fun. Whether that's an exciting adventure, unlockable bonus material, a gamerscore raised or a trophy aquired. You can't rip that off. 2. The concept of creating an avatar is probably as old as playing games itsself, if not, at least as old as pen&paper RPGs. How exactly it is ripping off Miis, I can't say. Can you actually do anything with a Mii other than showing him to other people and maybe playing as it in a few Nintendo games?
OMG , then lets say ninty and microsoft ripped Sony for using CD's! Who cares what fanboy say, what matters is if this idea (home) will sell. If you look at Second Life, The Sims, Animal Crossing and other MMO's it certainly does. :)

what ppl dont realize is that "HOME" is gonna change the fact that ps3 still costs 600 dollars and not just your average gamer can afford that.Hotwad
You don't expect the ps3 to cost $600 forever, right? All computer components starts out over $1000 but inside of two years it drops to 1/10 the price.
I would expect Sony to want to reduce the price ASAP which is why the Emotion chip was ripped out. Maybe in 2 years its $300 - $400?
I think they really pissed off is that when sony said it would change the way we think of home enterainment consoles, they are really meaning it with HOME and Live or VC can't do that what HOME is bringing to the table.
The funniest thing was in the comments, a Wii fanboys said : "Wii has something like this, it's called calling friends to play Wii Sports! Oh but I forgot, PS3 owners don't have any friends!"
My answer : "Life had something like that way before the first nintendo game. It was called real bowling and it had amazing graphics and physics. We're talking about online community here, you'll be allowed to talk when Wii will have an online game!"
Or people saying "It's a rip off of things that are available on PC!" Well yeah, but there's nothing close on console! Everything the X360 can do, a PC can too for free! Voice chat, online games, buddy list, messages, avatars, downloading trailers and demos, sharing music... We're talking about CONSOLES, not PCs!

lawl, no offence the first time i saw it, i thought, Sims.. but then i read about it, watched the vid. and WOW, i like love it and hate how its comming out in fall hopefully :(
