Your post remembers me of that sig that had a link to a thread were a blond chick bought a PSP, and a game, and removed the white casing of the game to use it. Yes, thats how smart you look.kenshinhimura16:lol: i remeber that, or when that guy didn't have a 3 prong outlet for his PS3 and someone told him to cut it off, and then he was complaing that it didn't work :P

I guess that even a human being with half a neuron could have figured out what was the reset button and how to connect the console online (which is by choosing: AUTOMATIC.) how easier could it be?
Before I begin trashtalking I would like to make it clear that I have very little experience with the system, but the experience I have had has been all bad so far. It starts with setting up the internet. While i'm pretty sure it's just a problem with the incoming internet connection and not the PS3 it's pissed me off enough to blame it on the PS3 anyway. Next, after having it connected stabily for a couple minutes the downloads and updates start. Some of them worked some of them downloaded to 3% then stopped, then would gain another 3% when I restart the download. Then the lockups...Twice while setting up the system and once while playing UT3 the system froze. Like old systems back in the day wherein they put a button on your console almost entirely for this reason....RESET...not to mention that this thing has no buttons. Sure it's nifty and spiffy, but a buttion would be so much more reliable and not leave me guessing weather or not i actually hit the button....I'm sure it will piss me off more in the futureAngry_Teddybear
If ps3 is to advanced system for you,you can always buy xbox 360 or WII.

First off to reset the system just hold your finger on the power button for a while and it will beep and the green light will flash then it will shut off. Simple. As for the internet it's not that hard to set up. all you have to do for wired is just press right a lot lol. and for a wireless you just have to say scan and then press right a lot. unless you want to go into detail and stuff. I think it's just your connection though.
Be glad that was a nice post. Because i can make it really really not nice. very very fast.
have a nice day:D

no power/stand by/ejectEject, standyby/reset is 1 button with 2 function. and power is a switch, not a button ;)I always thought that the right most icon was power (stand by, english is not my main language, so some terms change) and the one on the left was reset, but since I never had to use it except for the hard reset (when you hold stand by) I thought that it was for that reason :P My bad

Oh! Remember that time where a PS3 owner actually put a piece of bologna shaped like a disc into the PS3?
OK class, I need everyone to take out their PS3 manuals and turn to page 9. Wait a sec this may be easier for you. All you have to do is click it! lol!
