Before I begin trashtalking I would like to make it clear that I have very little experience with the system, but the experience I have had has been all bad so far. It starts with setting up the internet. While i'm pretty sure it's just a problem with the incoming internet connection and not the PS3 it's pissed me off enough to blame it on the PS3 anyway. Next, after having it connected stabily for a couple minutes the downloads and updates start. Some of them worked some of them downloaded to 3% then stopped, then would gain another 3% when I restart the download. Then the lockups...Twice while setting up the system and once while playing UT3 the system froze. Like old systems back in the day wherein they put a button on your console almost entirely for this reason....RESET...not to mention that this thing has no buttons. Sure it's nifty and spiffy, but a buttion would be so much more reliable and not leave me guessing weather or not i actually hit the button....I'm sure it will piss me off more in the future

just because you don't know how to use it doesn't mean you should blame it, the buttons are touch sensitive.. duh.

Lets get this straight. Your blaming your Playstation for your bad connection? As well as freezing problems that every other game system ever made has. Plus that it does not have what you would call a conventional reset button? Did I get the just of it?

I guess that even a human being with half a neuron could have figured out what was the reset button and how to connect the console online (which is by choosing: AUTOMATIC.) how easier could it be?

First off to reset the system just hold your finger on the power button for a while and it will beep and the green light will flash then it will shut off. Simple. As for the internet it's not that hard to set up. all you have to do for wired is just press right a lot lol. and for a wireless you just have to say scan and then press right a lot. unless you want to go into detail and stuff. I think it's just your connection though.

Be glad that was a nice post. Because i can make it really really not nice. very very fast.

have a nice day:D

I always thought that the right most icon was power (stand by, english is not my main language, so some terms change) and the one on the left was reset, but since I never had to use it except for the hard reset (when you hold stand by) I thought that it was for that reason :P My bad

For 1 ut3 is soooo prone to lockup's just the way the game is sounds liek a problem with your interntet not the ps3's.

well the internet is so simple to set up. sure mine freezes occassionally too but its usually when the house is so hot that im sweating so i dont blame the ps3. and if those buttons are too difficult then theres always the trusty power switch on the back.

I wouldn't blame your crappy internet connection on the PS3 and jump to calling it a "sad little system"... try getting a better connection/new modem.

Sure it's nifty and spiffy, but a buttion would be so much more reliable and not leave me guessing weather or not i actually hit the button....I'm sure it will piss me off more in the futureAngry_Teddybear

lol..people like you complain alllllllll the time..blah..blahblahblahblah...cry me a river. After reading the first line of your complaining ..read the manual the system's actually pretty easy to work with.
