Yes.

MGS is going to be made into a movie. It will be a movie adaptation of MGS1 I believe.

Resistance would make a sweet movie.

Assassin's Creed would be amazing.

id love too see the legacy of kain series from start to finish in a movie.

starting with blood omen then soul reaver then soul reaver 2 then legacy of kain defiance and skipping blood omen 2 because it had nothing to do with the story.

I think its abomination to video games when they make movies off them. It just ruins the whole natural world being spectrum.

Final Fantasy XIII Versus...lol it's not out yet, but if you've seen the trailer, you can tell the setting could be made into an epic movie.

Games that would make great movies (if done properly):

Suikoden (having all the Stars of Destiny and the True Runes in one movie, very epic)

Chrono Trigger( maybe start it around the time they find Epoch and work its way into Chrono Cross)

World of Warcraft( forget random people, and just base it off of major NPC's like Thrall, Sylvana and all them)

Folklore( a mystery thriller, with action and some comedy)

Assassin's Creed (base it off of the history of the Templar Knights and the Freemason organization)

Legend of Dragoon (kind of like Eragon, only not gay :P )

Legacy of Kain (previously mentioned)

Final Fantasy X ( I also think this FF would make the best movie, along with 6 and 8 )

As far as what will "MAKE A GREAT MOVIE",will all depend on the hands the movie is given to. If Kojima does do MGS, prepare to watch the best video game movie to date.

Umm Prince of Persia, God of War, and MSG are in production I think...Resistance Fall of Man would make a good movie, possibly Assassins Creed, although the director would have to change up some stuff...FFX and X-2 would make an amazing movie as well...rahul_batta

I can't think of any full length features based on video games that I liked. They're always way to cheesy or just fan service.

ROCKSTAR's games make a good material for movies e.g. Manhunt, red dead revolver and GTA(specially III).

Medal of honor series r probably good.

Tomb raider series.............oh. that is already done:D.

What about call of duty 4, the game plays like a movie and has a great story line.

Yep, I agree, other than Advent Children (and that's not really based off an actual game), I don't think there has ever been an even halfway decent video game to movie translation.

There are TONS of game that COULD make good movies, but they never do. I'm not sure the real reason other than the fact they always hire a director who probably doesn't even play video games, so they can't realize why people like that particular game.
