THIS YEAR is the BEST in gaming???

I think it's the best with too many games that are GOTY contenders...well, maybe GOTY should not even be mentioned this year due to an insane amount of excellent games!

Well I've played the demo enough to be able to do it with my eyes closed... so I guess so.

The import version's getting rave reviews, but I'd love it regardless.

Can't say I care too much for God of War... I didn't like the first two.

Idk if its the best, but its probably one of the best I've seen. 2010 already looks better though in my opinion with FFXIII, Bayonetta, BioShock 2, ME2, GoW III, Heavy Rain, Fable III, Halo Reach, etc., etc..

I agree with the 1998 argument, that year also included:
Banjo-Kazooie
Resident Evil 2
Tekken 3

However 1998 did not include:
Sonic Adventure (1999)
OR
Gran Turismo (1997)

It's certainly one of the better ones from what I can remember. I've only been "hardcore" gaming for a few years though.

2010 is looking to be a lot better than this year, but that's just me. And yes, 1998 still stands head and shoulders above 2009.

Uncharted 2 GOTY Edition (lol)

Medal of Honor (unknown title)

PoP 4 (SANDS OF TIME, OMG!!!!)

Halo Reach (bite me, fanboys)

So... Yes. 2010 will most likely be better. This year I only got Uncharted 2, really. Oh and Red Faction Guerrilla.

There's also Splinter Cell Conviction (HOORAE) Hopefully ("there is always hope") It'll come to the PS3.

u cant really say this year is the best year in gaming because its too soon.....youve gotta see what 2010, 11, 12, 13 and so on bring along before you can say man look that year is really the best in gaming at least in the new millenium....but before 09 deff prolly goes to 98

It actually wasn't that bad... don't know why you can't crawl though... I can't imagine that being a super hard feature to include in the game.

well i was around 9 in 1998 so i enjoyed that year in gaming quite a bit...i feel what youre saying about to date but if you did it that way then every year is the best in gaming
