Thoughts about : Dante's Inferno

Been playing the game for about 2 days and I am quite impressed the graphics and detail is just absolutely amazing the gameplay is very fun but easy to getusedtomy impressions are that it's a great game that should really get the credit it deserves as opposed to the crap ratings it been gettingby MOST.

Thoughts?

I enjoyed it a lot, the art design was quite outstanding, and combat was fluent and fun. Overall 8.5/10 from me :)

On of my fav. this generation. There is rarely a game which delivers so much atmosphear and playing the Game in a dark room with a surround system is an epic experience

So far I find it to be alot of fun. It's a bit over shadowed by it's comparisons to God Of War, but all in all a highly recommended purchase.

i always thought that was the glue that held games like this together. that and epic boss battles.

I just completed it. I'd give it over-all a 7.0/7.5 or so. The segment called "Malebolge" lasts 10 rooms, and is a succession of challenges designed to test your abilities before the finl boss, and offer up bonus souls if you complete the challenges objectives in a timely manner. What t ACTUALLY was is ridiculously boring, easy, and monotonous I almost wanted to quit before I finished them... the ending was pretty weak too, like a Soap opera or something. raven_squad

My original score was a 9 but the last chapter, where you meet the 10 challenges reduce it to a 8.5. The camera work sometimes is just awful. When you have multiple enemies scattered allover the screen, the camera doesn't pan out at all, so you have no idea what is coming at you. Many enemies have block breaking moving and usuallly those moves can 1-2 hit KO you on hellish and above, so it is no longer fair. I am really ok with the combat that doesn't allow you to stop a combo, but fighting blindly is definitely an oversight
