thoughts and poll on Ultimate GOW 3

well i picked up the ultimate edition and gotta say I should have gotten the regular edition. The Box is crap, looked all cool from photos and then you get it and the felt inside the box is comming off getting all over the game and art book. Also theres no soundtrack cd, its mp3 download only...... I really wish they would have done a Kratos figure and honestly i feel ripped off for a $100 bucks...... Stick with the regular edition. Game is fun so far at least :)

its ok, i mean it aint the greatest thing, but for a game thats suppose to conclude the series, its decent. i mean yea the box doesnt look 100% like the pictures, but then again, all of u should of known that usually collectors edition for games usually are kinda 'meh' u know? only ones i liked is blazeblue and demons souls, i kinda like the gow3 ultimate box, maybe cuz i wasnt really hypin myself for much, the game is wat i really wanted.JoKeR_421

Dang, I just found out that you can get the music stuff for 1.99 through the official site. So I basically payed $30 for a crappy plastic box..... Sheesh. TheEldestGod

I have got the regular edition. Maybe, I am a big fan of the series but I wouldn't spend extra 80 € on something I don't need.

I am still annoeyd after wakig up and looking at the crappy pandora box....

Before they came back in stock on Amazon on Monday they were selling for about 150 on Ebay. Haven't checked since, but since you can't find them anywhere again odds are you should be able to make a profit right now. Things could change though if they come back in stock.

Who cares if it's download only? As long as I can stick it on my mp3 player and save it on my ps3, I'm fine. What's the difference? And I don't see why so many people are complaining about the box. How many people honestly bought it just for the box? The music and documentary played the biggest role for me. I love behind the scenes stuff, and more games need them. Plus GOW has some of the best game music out there. I'm not going to fork out an extra 40 bucks just for a box.

Just got the ultimate edition today. You really think the box is that bad? With the way you were going on, I thought it'd be a lot worse. Yeah it's plastic, but it's not as cheap as you made it out to be. Were you expecting gold plating? lol Anyway, I'm totally satisfied. The box is really nice in my mind, and if it was much bigger I'd be hard-pressed to find a place to keep it.

Downloaded the music. A soundtrack for each game, plus 7 heavy metal versions. Pretty awesome.

Also, the art book is much bigger and better than I'd been expecting. Still haven't even put the game in yet, and I'm actually impressed. I'm usually a sucker for always buying the collector's edition, but this is by far the best collector's edition I bought yet. Yet everyone complains just because the box is too small...

What happens when you try to use the codes? Also, I think it only works in the US and Canada. So if you're in the UK, it might not work.
