I thought it was alright. The grappling was awesome as well as base jumping but I hated emptying whole clips into enemies only to see them standing there as if nothing happened. I might get it after a significant price drop but its not worth full price.
I read the title as Just 'cause. That would have been way better. "Why are you flying around with a grappling hook getting into all kinds of trouble"? Just 'cause.
i just played about 12 mins and right now it seems medicore. I didnt cause enough chaos for new missions but what i hate its obvious this game is a port from the 360. The graphics dont look great and developers need to stop with the R2 for shooting. It really felt odd in this game. I still dont like R2 for driving either. i will play the demo alot more so dont take my 12 mins thoughts seriously.

Just Cause 2 is a must buy. It llooks amazing for a game with such scope. Maybe a little tedious in the sense that you can go anywhere do anything but the demo was great, who knows if the full game is good.

(on PC) I thought the demo was quite fun. They just need to make sure the game keeps you hooked with the quests. The simple mechanics of the grappling hook and parachute are a blast. I had some fun times with the bike too. I also find it impressive that the world is gigantic and more beautiful than GTA IV yet it runs WAY better (at least on PC). GTA IV is ovverated :P.
Problem is I also want GoWIII, FFXIII, Splinter cell Conviction, modnation racers, and probablly more lol. too much!

well too bad I said it and I am sticking to it :). I am not trying to be cool, I just felt like it was unnecessarily hard to run, and most importantly the world was nowhere near as fun as San Andreas.

LMAO yeah moments like that make this game so freakin awesome. I love the scope of the game. I mean there are other games with big worlds, but you never feel like you are traveling this high and fast above them. Seems more natury and beautiful in some areas too. SO it is going to be nice and mixed.

It was fun, but not a buy for me, at least until it hits the bargain bin. The way you can run into a motorcycle with a car or jump off of a motorcycle and it keeps staying upright, driving off into the sunset without a driver really, really annoys me.

Has anyone had any problems starting this demo? If so,how were you able to fix it. Some of us are not able to start the demo. The controller is uresponsive.
It is not a PAL or NTSC problem as they demo has been downloaded from several areas.
I've been following this game for a while & hyped it back a few months ago. The demo sealed it for me. This one 25 minute timed demo is better than a lot of full games that have come out recently. The ONLY LIMITS seem to be your imagination. Try shooting a cannister & grappling onto it for a high flyingride. I noticed no issues with the gunplay. The aiming is solid & the guns pack a good solid punch. I've never had to empty an entire magazine even on the heavy armored guys. Saying this demo is mediocre is certainly a revealing glimpse intothe realmof limited imagination IMO. Iplayed it for about 5 hours yesterday & was NEVER bore or at a loss to find new stuff to do. From driving rickshaws to stealing helis & airplanes it can be done in this demo. You just have to actually SEARCH for thie events. Day one pre-order for me.

I thought the demo was awesome! It reminded me of a mix b/w Mercs and Red Faction!!! I hadn't heard or paid attn to the game until the demo came out... so they did a good job in catching my attention. Maybe not a day one purchase... but I definitely plan to come back and get it.
