they areally should of added more content before putting it out, Weather, News, Folding @ Home not alot to be calling it Life with Playstation, they'll most likely update it soon. The pic of the Earth is pretty sweet.

nope it's officially been released for everyone. and the people who already got it aren't exactly "lucky" because it's very underwhelming. just fire up folding@home and download the updates.

I like that you can use the web browser to go to other websites through google, but they should just make web browsing a feature of life with playstation, since it seems more stable than the regular browser. I wouldn't mind folding while I browse either.
L-P is very useful. It offers the global news in one location as well as international and weather updates that are beneficial to those that are interested in world events.
i was excited at first, until you realize it doesn't show all the places you wanna look at. for one, i live in AK, if I want the weather, I don't want seattle's, thats 15 hours away or a 4 hour plane ride.
they should have spend the time on that and put it towards home, so we can have that already

there's going to be a huge backlash against Home too, because it's also pretty useless.
Not according to my friend who got the Home beta. Home is going to be pretty cool. In essence it will take the place of a lot of XMB functionality. As for Life with Playstation? Its not bad. Im sure they will add more features as this goes on. But if your going to do Folding at Home anyway, why not have something pretty cool to look at? You can even put on your own music soundtrack, so you could just have it folding, playing music, while your doing something else at home.

i think if you hold square while running Life, the folding@home screen should appear.
Yep, it's not hiding too deep. Just hold the square button and you can switch between "Life" and "Folding@Home". If you have no plans to use the news/ weather bit just switch to the F@H and leave it there.

It's completely useless. My city isn't even on the map. And it shows the same news for the since the release. Anyone who voted they'll use it everyday for news updates is rediculous it's not even up to date or convenient to access a page of news. I mean sure it's free and cool to check out but why waste time on something so useless? Adding 100 more avatar icons would've been more cool and useful. Oh well, I wasn't expecting it so I had no expectations for it. I'm just giving my opinion on it. I think it's pretty useless. How about making the ps3 browser compatible w/ flash so it's useable. or putting effort into speeding up the servers..
i didnt know really what it was but after i download it..... they only thing thats cool is the earth looks awesome other then that it was a not worth a download or anything..... if you dont have it i wouldnt download it

Your folding still happens when you have Life running, it's just in the background when checking out the news/ weather. All your stats that you had on the system are still there. Like I said above, hold square and push down on the d-pad to show the folding.
It's somewhat useful. The weather is nice and all, but I can't see how many proteins I've folded and I can't see the status bar. Sony should add that in an update. Oh and whoever worked at Sony should check out the font when reading the news that is linked to you from Life with Playstation. You can barely read it! And you can't even zoom!
hmm did I miss something or anything because I just downloaded "Life with Playstation" and found it really, USELESS! WTF? Does it have any other features beside temperature, news and in-life with playstation music?
