Thoughts on the 3d update!

I am interested in the idea of future games coming out in 3D, but the fact that you got to buy a brand new 3D tv which will probably cost around $800 for a 15" lol. But i heard that not all games will be in 3D, until i see the games on the 3D list i wont buy, unless all PS3 games have to add a compulsory option to switch from 2D to 3D.

what are your thoughts on this 3D mumbo jumbo :P ??

The 3D TVs I heard are suppose to be about the same price as HDTV are now. Also, if they are super expensive just wait 3 years.Fightingfan

I really have no interest in 3D, for games or movies. I know it's all the rage these days, but it just doesn't do it for me.

Don't care at all for it... A couple years ago gaming in 1080P Full HD was all the hype rage.... How many games are made in Full 1080? Flower? That's all I can think of...MethodManFTW

It's a fad and will always be a fad. When you've got to buy a TV with $200 glasses that have already reported problems with people? This isn't going to fly. They always say "oh yes! This time! This time!" But they've been saying that since black and white TV and it's always failed miserably. Just because it's 2010, doesn't make it different by default.

At least Nintendo is going a step in the right direction with their 3D Nintendo DS that's on it's way. It adds depth and dimension to the picture itself like you're looking through a window. Even on angles.

I can't wait for 3D to become mainstream...though i don't plan on investing in a 3D setup just yet.

Now if they can only do something similar to that with TVs just by turning your head just using your eyes. Over priced glasses and double imaging isn't going to cut it.

Plus lots of gamers already suffer a kind of motion sickness with certain games in 2D-Well 3D will just Blow their minds!

i saw the latest 3D tech on display with games like Little Big Planet and Wipeout HD...let me tell you....we will all care. Looked AMAZING. See you all in the future.
