1) No, motorstorm does not have splitscreen ( was promised long ago but never happend)

and i would guess it would depend on your router i know some routers wireless give off stronger signals especially some net gear ones, if you had an average wireless router probably goes a pretty good distance not through 2 floors or anything maybe one but mine is only about 15 ft away in another room works fine
