I have the 60 gig ps3. What kinds of files can you put on a thumbdrive and play throught the usb ports? I have a 360 and I can put almost anything on a thumbdrive and play it throught the usb ports including movies, divx, xvid, anything. Does the ps3 read anything from a thumbdrive? I cant get it to read music pics or movies. Thanks
It should read the same things as the 360, though all i did was use my PSP so I am not a real expert in this area. But like i said its supposed to read a thumbdrive perfectly.
make a folder in your thumb drive called PS3 then inside that make folders called MUSIC, VIDEO, and well i cant remember the others but you get it right. just google search for this info
Thanks for the help, I will see what I can get it to do. And yes it reads stuff from the psp just fine, but then again so does my 360. So anyway, I have to just label the files in my thumbdrive differently?
