I know this has probably been said a thousand times already, but it's just my feelings. What about those of us who haven't gotten to purchase a PS3 yet and aren't drawn to bluetooth, a card reader, and a fancy silver faceplate? Yes, I know that the bigger HD is cool, but I never filled up my 360's when I had it... FAR from it, actually. And even if I did want a bigger HD, it's easily upgradeable down the road. Don't get me wrong, I'll be buying a 60 gig regardless now that the 20's discontinued, but I'd much rather of had a choice in the matter.

I could care less, about a hundred dollars more for a bunch of cool features. You never know, you might need them.

Bluetooth is standard in both the 20 and 50GB models, I think you are thinking of Wireless.
Had you bought the 20GB, you might have found you filled it up rather fast, as you don't get 20GB of space, proabably around 17GB is a rough estimate and alot of PS3 games actually dump data to the HDD to speed up loading times (Oblivion expecially about 4GB of data). Not to mention downloadable games and demos that take up a chunk of your HDD.

I don't think they should have ever even made the 20GB version. It's a waste to have all these multi-option systems and if people want to get the best, they'll pay for the best; It's just that simple. Good job on ditching the 20GB although bad job for even coming out with it.

Well what if they drop the 60GB price to 500? Would you be complaining then?

I didn't need wi-fi or a card reader but I still bought it. I don't really think the 20gb model was a good Idea. It's much better to have all the models with the same things in them even if you do pay a heaver price. If you don't want to pay the price wait for a price drop as the games at the moment are rubbish. I've been playing MotorStorm for the last few hours and it's the most boring racing game I've ever played!

Well no, I guess not. :-p But that isn't likely, atleast until around Christmas, and I'm planning on getting one soon, hopefully by mid-May.

Y is the 20GB bad. If you have no use for wireless or photo cards you cantake the 100 dollars you saved a make a 100GB ps3.

Exactly. And the photo card reader, while cool, could still be replaced with just a USB cord. I mean, if you hooked your digital camera up to your computer and saved the pictures on your HD couldn't you easily just move them from your comp's HD to your PS3's HD? The wireless, though, I could care less about. Wired internet all the way, baby!
