I am sick of PSN. I own a PS3 and an XBox 360, I am selling my PS3 and games, any takers?? I refuse to spend over $600.00 on a game system and can't play on-line. It is time for people to dump this amateur gaming company. Hey PS3, here is an idea, why not hire some people who can design a secure system, XBOX doesn't seem to have any problems. PSN is run by idiots. Maybe Bill Gates will send over some of his help, they know what they are doing. Lame, completely lame. sony has sold close to 400 MILLION consoles with the ps1,2,3 and psp combined. and the ps2 STILL sells 100-150K consoles a month, not bad for amatuers if you ask me!!!

And a week ago psn didn't seem to have any problems... and MS has had problems with xbl in the past, so yeah you'll forget about this a week after psn is back up, the only joke here is, wait that might be construed as flaming so I won't say it
its down for a week or two. if you have this much of a problem with a short outage like this, you may want to reevaluate your life....heck you can still play SP until its back. even if the ps3 was completely shut down for a couple weeks, i wouldn't be complaining as much as you are. if you have another system, just play on that until its back and relax, dude.
This "offline gaming" thing is apparently extinct. I keep hearing about it but I don't know too much about it... I never did pay attention in history class.
If you want to lose that massive investment just because you couldn't play MP for a little over a week then go for it. I'm not stopping you, but you'll regret it. The PSN might be coming back on Wednesday I heard.

Guess you didnt hear about; Uncharted, heavy rain, God of War series, Gran Turismo (ok it has online but the bulk is offline), dragon age 1+2, Mass effect 2, Dead Space, Fallout 3, fallout New Vegas, Batman AA, metal gear solid 4, Bioshock, Castlevania, The Elder Scrolls, Byonetta, Vanquish, enslaved, Demon's Soul's, Half Life 2, ect ect ect Shall I go on or just leave you playing the yearly update of COD?
I basically only buy Single Player games. I got my fill of "cookie cutter" shooters after COD3. The last shooter I really liked was Quake 3.
I have played online once in the past 9 months. It was some kid yelling through my TV about how I am cheating in NHL 10. That was quite amusing.
Many of the people I have seen complaining about the PSN down seem to always mention Black Ops, MW2, BFC2. I hate to say it, but those games seem to pull the most immature fanbase I have ever seen in my 30+ years of gaming.
