Hey everyone, I finally decided to get a PSP, and I think the redesign seems like a great option for me. So I'm looking on amazon, and I'm just picking out some stuff, but any suggestions or help would be very much appreciated. So far I want the PSP Slim with the Daxter Bundle, JeanneD'arc, Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops, the PSP Theater Experience to act as some sound help and a carrying case, and the PSP USB Cable to put some stuff from my PC to the system. I want to buy more games later, but what do you think about what Iwant to far? Thanks lots!

The game choice seems pretty solid, but I think you are better off getting some nice headphones the the psp theater experience. Also, pretty much all carrying cases out there are designed for the original psp, and may not fit the slim very well.

Hori brand of screen protectors are nice because you can wipe your screen clean and not have to worry about it getting scratched from that or otherwise. Other brands of screen protectors can be anything from also good to terrible so i'd recommend the Hori brand. You could get the component cables if you have an hdtv and play gameson the tv...the cables are a little short, 8 ft so unless you're sitting pretty close you may need to get couplers (89 cents each at frys) to add onto the 3 component and 2 audio cables.

Thanks for the help guys, I added the hori protectors to my cart. All in all it comes out to a little less than 300, but I don't think that's a bad price considering all I'm getting. Much appreciate the help!

Drop jeanne d'arc, looks pretty lame to me. Other than that good choices. Get an older game like hot shots golf open tee or something, don't just always concentrate on what's 'great and new' - you've missed out on a couple years of good PSP gaming, so I'd play some catch up. At least then you can trade the older games towards newer games too.

jeanne d'arc has a meta score of 87, if you like strategy RPG's it's a must.
