Is anybody else tired of resistance? I don't like that game anymore. Its just to unrealistic for me. I get frustrated when it seems I get multiple headshots, but I actually don't and die when the other person does. I like the more realistic games better, such as rainbow six or socom. Is anybody else feeling the same way I do?
Every single match, I go straight for the air-fuel grenades, and try my damnedest to score kills with them, but it's such a pain to get kills with them. They have such a ridiculously long discharge time that catching instant kills like you can with fragmentation or hedgehog grenades is completely out of the question. ; ; I've found what works best is waiting to play a team that likes to stick together, and once they engage your team, throw a couple "strategic" air-fuels. I usually get like...one kill this way. :P Still, out of five thousand kills, only twenty more to go to get my hundred air-fuels. ; ;
Im not tired of it, but I barely play it either. I play Motorstorm now, but Im gonna go back and finish Resistance campaign since Im almost done. Im in london..lol.;
well see im usually just running looking for someone to own (i only play on big maps. too much chaos on little ones) when all of a sudden i hear that sound the air fuel grenades make but i dont see where it came from. next i run around like a chicken with its head cut off and get killed, lol. if i see where the grenade is comming from tho i never get killed by it. (and to add to that, i just learned a few weeks ago how to put the fire out, lol)
yeah. getting kills with the air fuels sucks, best way to do it is on TDM at the Rooftops, 1hit kills, infinite ammo, start with all weapons. Only took me 3 hours to get over 130 kills with em.

Then you remember that we're all talking about the ranked Up Your Arsenal, because nobody checks unofficial stats. Or do they? >_> I know I don't. :x

ranked matches can get kinda boring, i mostly just play unranked, much more chaotic and fun, and longer.  and yes people do look at unranked stats, at least all my buddies do.

I don't like most custom games. Bunch of 1 hit kill, infinite ammo spawn with all weapon crap. I'd take the time to make my own matches...or I could just play more ranked games and go for the medals, which is what I personally enjoy doing. ^^v

thats what makes them challenging, when you got a level full of people with infinite grenades, and ammo is where it gets really fun, on the Mall level with the full "crazy" settings on and 32 people i got a 19 kill spree. 1 hit kills matches take serious reflexes and skill. Ranked are fun but a little slow for me.

That takes skill my eye. My longest killing spree is 22 in ranked, where all my kills had a life bar. Me > you :D
resistance is kinda hard. it's kind of hard aiming with the analog stick especially when your used to the mouse, the sensitivity is a bit more awkward than the mouse since the more you move up, the faster you turn so bassically it goes from slow to fast and i am used to one speed and the mouse is easier to aim with precision since the crosshair moves in perfection on whereas you move it to. and also resistance online is kinda awkward, it'd be great if they made some co-op online missions so you could play with like 10 other people online doing harder missions instead of playing against eachother.
You wanna get kills with air-fuel grenades? Throw em directly at the enemy or your teammate and watch them run into a crowd. Usually nets about 5 enemies per try on average.Â
