agreed only buy it if you can play it online.....its true that its few tracks but i dont mind it at all..ppl saying its 2 few are kinda stupid imo....in most games no matter if its fps ,racer or anything else you pretty much always end up only playing 4-8 different tracks which you like best anyways... nc_soldierBut at least you get to choose what tracks you like best out of a pool of tracks. Having such a small number of tracks really limits how many you get to pick as your favorites, no? I see what you guys are saying. I'm looking at it on an internet auction now for 30 bucks. I suppose if they release some additional tracks via PSN for a marginal fee then I can't complain. Thanks for the feedback.
Got a question for ya. I've been trying to rent Motorstorm but it's always out so I'm wondering whether or not I should bite the bullet and pay the 65 bucks for it. I read that one of it's main drawbacks is that it only has 8 tracks. Do you guys that own the game really feel short changed because of that? Is the game less enjoyable because of that or does it feel too short? Thanks for the feedback. CyanX73
the only thing else i wanted was split screen offline multiplayer
I rented it from Gamefly and now I can choose to keep for $45 more. I've played it a couple times and each time was fun. The tracks are so big sometimes that you end up going so many different ways and hard to remember all the areas it never feels like 8 tracks. Then when you got different vehicles that perfom so different that sometimes dictate which path you take, it make the maps more versatile.
Haven't tried online yet. I'm very close to purchasing it. This is why I signed up for Gamefly, so for just $15 a month I can have a game and play it on and off for a month or two and not feel too bad that I only paid the monthly fee instead of $60+tax. Then if I do want to keep the game, it's usually $12 less than retail and they ship the case and manual to you. Prefect way to try games to buy.

ya its all about online
I agree as well. Is still fun in single player but once you got 1st place in all the races, you pretty much want to take it online and see how good/bad you are. :P Also, the single player is like a practise course for online. Get to know the tracks and improve your driving skills to show off online. :P
