So I have enough money to buy one game, but I don't know which game I want. I've played through most of the RE games (1-4) and thoroughly enjoyed them, but heard mixed opinions on it. How if only you play with someone else the game is fun and the AI of Sheva is stupid and such. On the otherhand I've never really played Killzone, and infact got bored playing the first 10 minutes of it. I do like FPS games, but the first didn't do it for me. I'm downloading the demo to see how it will be. There is also Street Fighter 4, but I'm not sure if I want that.

A few questions I also want to ask, other than which game to get, is do I need a good mic to play co-op on RE5? I'm not that big on talking to people on the PSN so wanted to know how communicative the experience is.

I would say killzone 2. Dont judge your opinion on the last one. As you will find out from the demo its nothing like 1 and deserves the 60 bucks. Resident Evil is a little weak in my opinion. The graphics are beautiful but the gameplay and ai are lightyears behind today even if they are an improvment from the previous games. If you love RE games on the other hand I guess you kind of have to get it but would wait until the price goes down if you can.

Have you played the RE demo?

Killzone 2 is a much better game, hands down! I played RE5 yesterday with a friend...huge disappointment.

Its still a great game but Killzone 2 is easily one of the greastest ps3 games behind MGS4.

Killzone 2. Then sell KIllzone 2 if you don't like it and get RE5. Cause if you do it the other way around, it's very unlikely that you'll be able to sell RE5 due to the mixed reviews it's been getting. Both are good games, just that Killzone is much more fun cause the controls is good. RE5 has controls stuck in the 90s...but if you like it (like I do) then go get RE5 (cause the graphics are much better than Killzone 2 also). But for this one, if you have cash enough for just one game. Go with KZ2. RE5 can wait.

killzoen 2 because even if both have great single player killzone 2 ahs great mutliplayer so you should buy that and play it while its populated. I wouldnt make any sense to buy re5 now and then buy killOne 2 5 months later when the online is dyingdown now would it?

Played the KZ2 demo today, it was fantastic. Sadly, me being an avid RE fan, made me choose RE5. I will ultimately get KZ2, but I have to play the newest entry in the RE series despite what people say. Thanks for everyone who gave their opinions nonetheless.

RE5 is a great game to play with a buddy.. Though I find the item system some what lacking in variety. I mean there were a ton of unique choice weapons in RE4. So it made it feel alittle RPGish.

It all depends. For me I am a huge Resident Evil fan, so you know what I would say. Resident Evil 5 is a great game, but a few occassional drawbacks make it a little iffy at points. It plays a lot like RE4-- which isn't a bad thing. As for Killzone 2, it's awesome game as well. I like FPS and all, but Killzone 2 is probably the first FPS in a long time that got me really excited.

So it all depends. I got both, and they are fantastic games.

I'd get Killzone 2. RE5 is a good game too but KZ2 will keep you busy for a while.

Killzone 2 is easily better than RE5 in my opinion. RE5 just doesn't feel that good.

Haven't played RE5 but make sure you get KZ2, it's a game that needs to be played by any FPS fan.
