Worth it? Yes. Getting alot of play out of it? No. I mean we don't have to many games right now that I consider worth $60. I only have three games (Marvel, Resistance & Motorstorm). I'll be getting alot of play from spring and up.
Its very worth the price. I play it all the time and there are many games coming that look fantastic. Also, with Home coming that will definately expand the PS society.
Definatley worth it for me, all the features rock, wireless internet is sweet, memory card slots help from time to time, blu ray is fantastic, HDMI cables rock beyond belief, free online, c'mon theres nothing better, as of now I'm waiting for some more games, but slowly and surely the PS3 game library is becoming respectable.
I play my PC more than my PS3. I have no interest in the games out, besides Resistance and CoD3. Was it worth the money? Yes, because it's more than just a game console. It does more than what a game console is expected to do. And I wanted a Blu-Ray player :P
yes it was. i play it all the time i own Dj Icon (which i actually think is pretty damn fun) RFOM, MUA, and Motorstorm and i enjoy each game a great deal. which is more than i can say about the 360's launch... the only game i thought was fun was COD 2, granted i did play that a hell of a lot. Lol.
Yes, worth it, I wish I could've gotten it on release date. I was going to stand in line at my Toys r Us for a preorder one night, but people got in line 2 DAYS in advance. Was that worth it? Definitely. That was for a PRE-ORDER!
It's worth the money that's paid for it. Trust me, there might not be a whole lot of great games out right now but once the game library expands, it will be a whole lot better and there are a lot of features that can be used. As said before, if you put in the time, there is a lot this console can do. As for PS Home, it's gonna rock or at least I hope it does. :D
I wanted a Blu-Ray player, I wanted to play next generation games, and I never had a PS2. So it is way worth it for me and there aren't even that many games out yet. BD Player $1000, PS2 $130. PS3 $500. Yes definitely worth it. And the value will be even more once games come out.
Well, as an investment yes, I'm waiting for more games to out, and Home might be worth a shot. Getting one now isn't a great idea if your not willing to wait. But I am, and I play Resistance all the time, and I'm starting to play most of my PS1 and 2 games on it.
i havent actually got one, since its gonna be release in a few days this side of the planet. I got it pre ordered though. If you are willing to invest for a long term then i guess its a good choice since there arent so many great games on the system now (im gonna get resistance and vf5, which i think are the only 2 great games available now) but in time we'll surely get some more great titles on the ps3. on the other hand, if you are looking to play a lot of great games right away, might as well go with a 360. Its cheaper too. My final advice is, buy both of them, they are both great systems :D
