I really want to pick it up when it's due back in stores next week, and I can afford it easily but I just don't want to waste $60. Is it worth the money?
I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed the BETA for LBP. Is it worth it? Well...... that's up to you really. Are you creative enough to make levels that are so immense that everyone wants to play it? Do you want to see what everyone in the World has created (in terms of levels) to experience what they have done? If you have a Playstation 3 & you are a visionary/creative person, well by all means get this game & enjoy it to it's fullest extent! Considering that millions of people can create their own levels/worlds will probably keep you satisfied for months to come. Plus, the single player will be immense, which will force you to play with your friends or link up with others to complete a single player mission/level. You can play with 4 friends on the spot or link up with 4 to play is extraordinary for games these days.
I was fortunate enough to get mine early and so far I really enjoy the single player. however, I can't do the multiplayer because the servers are not up. I would imagine that the servers won't be up until tuesday so I can't comment on the online. But so far so good!:D
I went to...14 STORES TO GET THIS GAME...and guess what? Didn't find one. So I find myself sitting on my hands (playing Far Cry), and waiting for this to RE-RELEASE. Granted, Far Cry is amazing, but I've waiting since the announcement for LBP. **** Sony.
And yes, it's worth every cent. My boss has it. Bastard.
It's amazing. I could get lost in the level editor for days. It's every bit as cute and adorable as you'd expect, even more so probably.
The game is definitely worth the money. Last week I would have said Fallout 3 for GoTY, today I wouldn't be offended at all if LBP makes its way into the running. The game really deserves every bit of credit it recieves. You'll lose track of how many times you laugh or smile when playing the game. It has this irresistable charm.

This is actually very true. Some things are way more frustrating then they need to be. As if platformers aren't frustrating enough even with good controls.

There was a line in one of the background songs that is from the Quran. Very small minor thing for us, but I guess it matters to others.
There can be some issues with the planes and moving between them but it's really not game breaking. I'm enjoying it at the moment. I've been taking my time with the levels and messing with the creator. I was in the beta so I wanted to get all of the tutorials out of the way. I like, I think it's worth. It's really up to you though on a personal level. Do you think you'll enjoy creating levels and what not?
