Internet is very horrible. It doesn't support flash most of the time.

It's only good for gamefaqs and text really. It can barely do mobile sites, don't even bother with full desktop sites.

The internet is ok but it fills its purpose (at least for me it does), like checking E-Mail, Other social media, Instant Messaging on EBuddy, but some sites are too big and will most likely never open

The PSP can handle Facebook, it will most likely be condensed into a Mobile Version, so it fills its purpose.

Hahahah, is that right? I find that funny because the Gamestop website says that the PSP offers Internet. I guess one would assume that that meant the Internet was good, but I guess it wasn't.

It can access Gmail and Facebook's mobile sites(m.facebook.com, m.gmail.com), and there is a workaround site that searches youtube videos and downloads them in MP4 format directly. If you take the time to look, a lot of people have made some cool sites specifically for the PSP.

It offers the same amount of internet than an average mobile device, don't expect it to be like the Samsung Galaxy's Internet browser or the Iphone, considering how the PSPs standard internet access was awesome like 5 years ago. It does the basic job as far as letting you browse the web but downloading stuff and watching videos is definetly a no no.

the internet is ok. but honestly you can get better internet on a netbook, smartphone, or tablet. The psp is made for games. It can access the Playstation store and play games over the internet and thats all you need. Trying to check email on the psp is painfull. Lately I havent been able to log into my yahoomail. I put in the username and password, but then nothing happens. The button to log in just doesnt work. It seems like many mobile sites are made for Iphone, Windows7phone, or Android. If you want something that does internet half decent, get an smartphone, tablet, or a netbook computer.

As many above has stated, the PSP internet is very lacking in features. I mainly use it for looking up cheats and faqs if I am away from the computer. However, though the browser really sucks, the PSP internet is pretty interesting and there is a way you can get youtube playing on your psp that I cannot discuss in this forum.

It was horrid if memory serves. I used to access KOEI Warriors through a PSP special made portal. Was a little fun. :P

The internet is really crappy on PSP. I dislike the PSP internet browser. I really blows, Sorry Sony as much as I love the PSP as a gaming system surfing the internet using a PSP is a chore. Plus you have to use mobile versions of webpages/Same for surfing on a smartphone. I would rather use a standard Laptop for internet on the go. Then a PSP or a Smartphone/iphone. PSP does Skype well enough to recommend, But for other internet stuff. I perfer a laptop computer. Tablets are kinda neat but they are not my favorite either. Sorry Sony PSP 1000/2000/3000/PSP Go have **** internet browser.

It is VERY bad. It cant load most pages and the ones it does, are missing a lot of stuff. A free smartphone can surf the web infinitely times better than a crappy psp.

HAHAHAHA noooooooooooooooooo. Have you used an "average mobile device?" Yeah, you can get a phone FREE on contract, and it will destroy the PSP's crappy internet.

[QUOTE="TonyDanzaFan"] HAHAHAHA noooooooooooooooooo. Have you used an "average mobile device?" Yeah, you can get a phone FREE on contract, and it will destroy the PSP's crappy internet.

It depends on the phone. Lately, most free phones I've seen are pretty crappy, and quite comparable to the PSP's browser. "The average phone", maybe not, since that standard is certainly rising. Sony really did fail to take advantage of the system's power when it comes to the web browser. At least, they could have made the browser a separate program run from the Memory Stick, and freed up some memory for it. Mostly, it's just short on memory.
