Does anyone believe that if Sony does what i'm suggesting, it will be a step in the right direction to winning this console war.
Â
I believe MKII could fall into your category of "at least one demo" if you weren't cheap. It's five dollars. As far as testing games out before you buy, thats why rental stores are out there.
Yes, the 360 marketplace has done this well, now. They weren't exactly full of content at the beginning stages either. And both of those games you mentioned are on the 360 too. So if its such a big issue, download the demos of those two and then decide to buy them for 360. CoD3 has voice chat online with the 360 and not with the ps3 anyway.Â
I totaly agrree. The ps store is very bad at this moment. Too many demo can be here, but no, we have demo that we dont care like full auto and launch games.. Where are all the multi platform demo like fight night, NHL games, Virtua Fighter, Virtua Tennis, FEAR, GRAW2 etc? All those demo except VF5 of course are on the 360.
Its not a good period of time for the ps3 at the moment, lacking games and lacking demo as well but this fall things will change I think..and I hope.
im now at the point where i dont care about updates or anything with the ps3/360 or whatever...im simply just relaxing playing ps3 and 360 but majority pc and then when something comes out i like i dl it. simple as that. i dont expect anything nor do i take any rumours with even a grain of salt. Your expectations will never be met, appreciate what they give you on the ps store and be done with it man. Cus in the end your bickering and posts like this:
I'm getting sick and tiredof waiting for thursday to have mediocre stuff in the playstation store. Seriously how many people bought Mortal Kombat 2? thats an old game that most people don't want to pay for again. Sony has to realize that people who own PS3s want more demos and gameplay footage. Demos would also boost the sales of some of the games too. The thing is, they should put at least one demo on every week. I understand that they could run out of games but what about demos of downloadable games on the store? The thing is I don't like to take the 60$ plunge for a game that could suck. Gamespot can review the game i don't care but that's what THEY feel about the game. I want to try games before I buy. So please sony, put a Tony Hawk's Project 8 demo on or a Call of Duty 3 demo on. Xbox Live Marketplace has done this well. I have a 360 and PS3 but i wish sony would step up its game. Right now 360 lets me try almost everything before I buy, and thats online service done right.theclancykidÂ
arent going to solve a damn thing wrong with the ps store or anything else ont he system for that matter

So true.
PS: Just rent games if you aren't sure about a purchase or maybe try it out at a store.Â

Look you little prick MS has been doing their thing for quite a while as far as having an online system set up. They have also had a year to prepare developers and software for their online network. Sony has a completley different approach to their networking this generation than last generation. Give them at least a year to get things rolling. In the mean time, you can play your 360. Stop complaining on the ps3 forum
That was uncalled for. I agree that it would be nice to get some nice demos on the PSN.

I see your point but try to be patient. Sony has A LOT on it's plate right now for PS3. I think the entire interface of store is going to get an overhaul by the holiday season. So in the meantime it'll be a little dead. Yeah MKII is an old game but right now they're just trying to put something on there. If by December the store is still this lame and the demos are nonexistent I'll agree with you 100%. Sucks to have to go through this stage but that's what we who own a PS3 are going to have to do. 360 owners didn't exactly have everything available to them right away. They had to bear with nothing for the same amount of time as us. So again, patience. Good things come to those who wait.

Bad form sir. Bad form. Just because someone voices their opinion doesn't mean they should be called a prick I want demos too. I want games. I want just about anything other than MKII and lame movie trailers BUT I keep telling myself that all that and more will be there in time. No harm in venting on a PS3 forum with other PS3 owners on how dead PSN is right now. That's what the forum is for. And for a 600.00 dollar investment many people think that the wait shouldn't be this long but it is what it is. So in the future try talking to someone rather than degrading them. Â
Have you ever heard the term of "RENTING" ? Use that please.Moron.Â

Why must people call names. There is nothing wrong with what he is saying. Maybe if more people ask for demo, and stop calling names, then maybe we will get some good demos.
But you have to know that i have the crappy 360 with no hard drive and i know that the PS3 has more raw computing power than the wii and 360 put together. Now when the marketplace came out they didn't have PS3 to compete with so i'm sure they were happy. Now the PS3 cam out with the PS Store and it has to go against the giant marketplace. That is one thing 360 fanboys are poking us and prodding us with. Now if we got a better online service, they wouldn't be able to do anything. When Home comes out that will change everything but for now we need more demos and more games.
And damnit people i have a right to have an opinion so if you don't like what i'm saying, don't post.Â
I doubt that Sony can really be blamed for any lack of third-party demos. If Sega wants to make a PS3 demo they will (Armored Core 4), if they don't then they don't (Tennis, VF5). Sony can't force publishers to put demos up on the PSN if they do not wish to.argianas
They could be then they'd be named Microsoft. lolÂ

I say let them poke and prod since those opportunities will become few and far between as MS launches SKU after SKU to catch up(its already started with the elite...next up external Blu-Ray player add-on). With future-proofing, it's not crazy to expect certain things will take some time.Â
you didnt o to scchool just so you could WAIT for a demo...thats quite sad to tell you the truth. Your ps3 will always be there man. get your education broMiguel16
Seriously. School should definitely come first.  Â
