It seems like most console games are easier to conquer then pc games. Don't know if it's because console gaming are less 'hardcore' then pc gamers. I have pc games I've had to let go because of difficulty. If I have given up on one of my XBOX 360, PS3 and Wii games it is lack of interest and not because I'm stuck.
But I will give you that the trophy hunt can be a hassle.
I just picked up Ninja Gaiden the other night. I have to say it's pretty hard, but it's still a lot of fun. I'm getting better so I assume once I finish it I'll actually have a great feeling of accomplishment which is more than I can say for a lot of games.
Hardest game with trophies is easily Wipeout HD. Online trophies are brutal.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma, I played it on normal difficulty and couldn't beat the final boss because I only had 1 potion left, thus I had to play it all the way from the beginning. Killzone 2 on Elite.

ouch.....-_- that burns I also only had one health potion left but I also had 1 big ninpo potion and two small ones so I ninpo-spammed his ass to oblivion once his health bar was halved :P When I challenged him in my second playthrough, I had like 5 big potions I think, but I only used one potion :evil:
I though Demons Souls and Pixel Junk Monsters where the hardest games on the PS3 with out being cheap.

Yeah i heard abut that.. even gameinformer said that Demons souls was hard...but when it comes to US i hope at least 3 of you guys add my PSN so we could have official RPG gaming!
