How long is this promo? I have Resistance and Untold Legends (played just once). But there is nothing coming out until next week. Also have VF5 but I'm not a huge fighting guy and bought into the hype. I had a walmart credit so I bought it, but the novelty has worn off that too. I need more games like resistance and action adventure!jdang307try untold legends again you might like it it is a decent game to play. fun and simple
Great deal but I already traded in Madden and the other 2 I have are keepers. Getting a few titles in the next few weeks though.
Trade in two 50$ games at $100 for one $50 game?Okay...you sell both games at $40...ebay / paypal fees are what like $9....to ship the game say you go cheap USPS $4 but you have to put the game in something so you use those bubble wrap envelopes you get at staples for $2...okay now your $40 is only...$25 in total profit (two games $50)... and seeing that the game is $59.99 your still around $10 - $15 depending on tax....
Or sell them both on ebay for 40$ each.
Bottom line Gamespot in a complete rip off and scammers, they bash the PS3 at any chance and give it a bad name. DO not give that company your money.

Where as you walk in the store with the same two games and trade them in for a new game getting $30 per game.... Do the math...its not a bad deal
[QUOTE="yanks1112"]RIP OFF!!!jwat4I dont see how its a rip off...You trade in two games you never play and get a new one free?... I mean if you can sell your used games for $30 profit then go for it...I know I cant....not after ebay fees...or shipping or packaging a game.
Well, think about it. I but two games for $60 each for a total of $120.00 and trade them in for another games that's worth $60.00. MAKES NO SENSE!! If you want, I'll buy two games off you right now for $31.00 dollars each.
Screw the charks at Gamestop/EBGames. Â

You make it sound like GS/EBÂ is so great. What's so great about trading in a game and getting $20 for it and then GS/EB turn around and sell it for $50 each. It's just ridiculous.
I'm sorry, but all you people who think this is such a great deal, your idiots, plain and simple. It's fine, you people go ahead and live in your little world were you think you got the deal of the century, go on.Â
The system launched just over 3 months ago, and even if you bought your system at launch, the oldest your games are, are just over 3 months, and unless you stole them or got some rare deal, you paid full price for them, and now your willing to take a 50% loss after just 14 weeks? That is just plain idiotic.Â
All this kind of deal does, is lose you money, and on top of that, anybody that keeps doing deals like this, your losing a ton of money, and you never have a decent library of games. It's a lose lose situation. Your basically paying 30 dollars a game to rent it for a couple months. Joining gamefly or some other rental service is a nobel prize worthy stroke of genius compared to what you people are doing.Â
You my fellow poster, are an idiot for calling others idiots. Let me pose this question to you. How much are two games that collect dust and never get played worth? $0 if you never do anything to them. $30/each if you trade them in. You don't have to do the math, there is no math to do. You say a 50% loss after just 14 weeks? Well if you never played it, yeah. It's a loss if you never played it. But if you did then you factor in the amount of enjoyment you got from it. For instance, I haven't played Resistance since Thanksgiving weekend. Right now it's worth $0 sitting on my desk. If not for the new downloads I would never play it again. I also have Untold Legends. Will never play it again, I guarantee you. So in order not to lose $30, you ... while calling me an idiot ... advocate I keep the game. Thereby not only losing $30 but another $30 that I would get in a trade in, in total a loss of $60. And this is smart? Note that I don't buy games often, I gamefly them and return then after I'm done. But occasionally I get gifts and occasionally I want something bad enough I buy it.I'm sorry, but all you people who think this is such a great deal, your idiots, plain and simple. It's fine, you people go ahead and live in your little world were you think you got the deal of the century, go on.Â
