I am looking forward to next month's batch of new games. Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII is what I am looking forward to the most. I really want the PSP for its great RPGs (mainly action-oriented, i hate turn-based.) And because I want a good MP3/video player that has a huge screen (I want to get rid of my iPod so that my dad can use it.) I feel like selling my NDS, GBA, and GC for a PSP slim since I don't really have the greatest games for any of those systems. By selling all those consoles and their games, I should have enough money to buy a PSP Daxter pack. Since most of the good PSP games are $20 now, money shouldn't be a problem as long as I get some pretty lengthy games each time I buy. Also, the new games coming out for the DS don't seem like much other than Dragon Quest IX which, right now, isn't enough to keep my interest on the DS. For my situation, would you guys agree with what I am already thinking or should I wait? Is the PSP going to die soon (sorry, had to ask) or something like that since I don't want a console for a year and then have it lose support the next.

if i were u i would trade in those systems and get the psp just like u said. And don't worry about the psp dying out, the generation of psp owners is only getting bigger and with the new stuff coming out for the psp this year and next year you really should get one.But in the end it's all up to you.

i am not sure gamestop will take my ds though since it is losing its stylus and they say it needs its stylus for a certain sale to take affect. will gamestop just deduct the amount they give me for it or will they just not take it at all. also, couldn't i just buy a stylus pack, although i am trading in an original ds which nintendo doesn't support anymore.

If you really have little interest in your DS I see no point in keeping it. Gamestop however is pretty cheap with their trade in's and will probably not give you as much as you'd expect, especially considering you said your stylus is messed up.
