So if i were to trade in my 40Gb ps3, i'll get 220 bucks, plus I'm going to trade in MGS4(comes in the pack), GTA4, and Assassins creed, that make it 66 bucks for the games. so thats a total of 286. And the MGS4 bunlde is 541 included with Tax, and i owe 255 out of pocket. I do have the money but would it be worth it? I'm mainly in it for the extra GB space and DS3 controller, which can be bought seperately. thanks!
i dont think its worth it.. since i have no use for BC and neither 40gbs nor 80gbs are sufficient space for the future.. (getting a sata 2.5'' (laptop) HDD and put it in your ps3 is the right choice for me..).and use that 255 to get the sata HDD the DS3 and mb some game (if you have any $ left) and you have a 200/300/mb more GB ps3 with a DS3..
well its not the best deal. And yes i don't need the Memory card readers at all, i don't need BC, cause i already beat my only PS2 game FFXII 2 times!(great game). I guess you guys are right i should just buy a new HD and DS3 controller. how is this HD from newegg?
It's a bad desl cuz your store is cheap as hell. If you sold it with those games on EBay, you'd get $485, then you use the earnings to get the MSG4 bundle in-store.But it's up you. I know that's how i would do, but it might not be your most convenient.
I dont' think it's worth it. You can spend a lot less money upgrading the hard drive then spending it for an 80GB PS3. And you still have money left over to get yourself a DS3.
i don't know you can just buy a new harddrive and a ps2 for the extra your going to put in...tough call but if you do get the mgs4 bundle do it through amazon...no taxes and free shipping next day if you sign up for 30 day free trial of that amazon prime thing
No that is a horrible trade if you just want for GB and dualshock 3. here what you do for more disc space go to best buy or what ever or even of the internet and buy a new laptop hardrive the most you can get is 320 GB i heard they have a 500 Gb but if you can find that the hardrive have to be be 2.5" and sata and it will fit in your ps3 rpm doesnt matter doesnt matter the brand they all work i have done this i have a 40gb and now i have 250gb with all my music and vids a pics and sava data. as for a dualshock trade in your old controller or a game to try to get that if you really need some rumble. http://www.newegg.com/Store/SubCategory.aspx?SubCategory=380&name=Laptop-Hard-Drives
link for some hard drive and youtube if you wanna see how to put a new hard drive in you ps3 it isnt hard. warning make sure all your things on your or ps3 hard ddrive transfer to your pc or psp so you can transfer it to the new ps3 hard drive.
