Now lets say the Gamestop didnt have the game Warhawk

Can i go to EB games instead and use Gamestop store credit?

Yes, you most def. can. At my mall, there are 3 different videogame stores, Gamestop, EB Games, and EBX. All 3 are merged together, and you can use store credit that you get at any of the 3. atleast thats the way it works here, so I dont see why it would be any different for you.

yes u can. i used to do it all the time wen i traded stuff in. when they give u the store credit they r basically giving u a gift card and both gift cards work at either store.

Never, ever sell anything at all in Gamestop, EB Games, etc. They rip you off big time. The best thing to do is put your stuff up for sale on www.craigslist.org and sell it locally. I've sold a lot of game stuff that way. Instead of buying a $60 game, playing it, and then trading it in at GameWhores for $10, put it on craigslist and sell it to someone locally for around $45. Same with anything else you want to sell. It's basically like a local free eBay.
