Oh boy.......Yes they will see your created account. It will come up automatically just as it did every time you booted up your PS3. Ooops, hope you didn't put a credit card in there, or you better get ready to call your bank.

Why on earth would you do that. The 60GB has full backwards compatibility. The 80GB does not. If you want more space upgrade the hard drive yourself.

You do know you just traded down. The 60GB had the EE chip and you can always buy a bigger HDD, especially bigger than 80GB.

Oh well then there shouldn't be a problem, unless you bought any games from the PS store, you wont have access to them you will have to buy them, and the person who buys yours will get them free

Youll have to create a new PSN account and your online data will be lost if you have any

Why in the world would you do that? Well here are the answers to your questions:

1. I think BestBuy refurbishes them, but them again I'm just guessing.

2. I don't know if it will work, but if it is USB most likely.

i know all about the EE an its 95% or more BC. i also know that my 4 ps2 games are compelelty compatible with my new 80gig. so IF the EE 60gig can cop out with motorstorm for 399 and if not then i dont think i made a bad choice.

Beside EE is overrated. so what if it play 100% BC, its not like i am going to buy the whole ps2 library. All my current and future ps2 games work or will work with my new 80gig because i check it out before exchanging it. Current games mgs, devil may cry, FF, god of war. ALL COMPATIBLE WITH 80GIG. EE is overrated.

80gig with motorstorm > 60with EE, unless ur planning to buy all 1200+ games that ps2 has

I would never trade my PS3 60 for another console with a larger HDD instead I would just swap the HDD out for something around 200 gig's of space and if I wanted a game that came with another SKU I would just go out and purchase the game.

Why didn't you just put a new HDD in? I put a 250Gb in mine and then added a 500Gb external.

why would i put a new hard drive. 60 was enough. i was only after the game (motorstorm) 80gig with motorstorm and 60gig were both 499. 80gig with motorstorm is definelty better than 60gig EE. Pls dont say EE is better, i have not found any games that arent compatible with 80gig yet. so i believe 80 w/ a game is therefore a better trade

why are so many ppl saying trading ur 60gig to 80gig with motorstorm for the same price is bad deal. Sure 60gig has Emotion engine and has 100%bc, so does the 80gig even if its only 80% bc. i have 4 games for the ps2 and ill checked them out and they all work and i also checked the compatiblity of the games tghat i am ggoing to buy this xmas and guess what, they will work. so i rather buy 80gig with motorstorm than a 60gig with EE.

also ppl = 60gig is rare now, they dont make it anymore, so what. i get it its rare, but its not like ur going to sell it on ebay for 1000 for its rarity.

another thing its not about having another extra 20gig and i would i upgrade my HDD to 250gig. its a waste of money.
