Dammit! Am I the only one affected by this? The damn patch doesn't give me trophies, or even list them in the cross media bar. In fact, my game has frozen TWICE since the 30 minutes I've had the patch, while before the patch, it's only frozen once (it was REALLY hot that day). Anyone else get a bum patch? By the way, I've deleted and redownloaded it and nothing happened. EDIT: Wiping my harddrive fixed it. :D It took 3.5 hours, but now it works fine and I have some Uncharted trophies! :D Thanks to all who wished me luck! ;)
Havent people learned tehre lesson yet? wait a few days before downlaoding updates becasue so many tiems things have gone wrong. Try deleting the patch and see if its any better.

Thanks for the help, but I've tried deleting it and redownloading it. It takes me about 10 minutes to download 13 megabyes so it takes a while. I guess I'll try it again...
Maybe I am lucky or something because I have never had problems with any kind of updates with the PS3. Feel bad for you guys. Don't know how to fix because I never had these kind of problems.

Same here. I have a 60gb. I don't know if that has anything to do with anything. It's been running like a champ. Sucks for you guys that are having problems. Sorry. :(

QUICK UPDATE: This just keep getting weirder. I have an alternate account AND EVERYTHING WORKS PERFECTLY. IT'S JUST MY MAIN ACCOUNT Chaos_Bladez that can't unlock trophies or even register. What the hell?
first of all, calm down TC, stress will only hurt you, not fix your ps3. if the patch is screwing up your game, delete it and don't update the game. e-mail Naughty Dog and tell them that the patch is freezing your game. They won't scan forums to find out a few people are getting screwed over with the patch.

Ok, sorry. :( I'm still pissed but damn, this is annoying. Too late. I'm wiping my harddrive right now. It says it will done in 3 and a half hours... :( Yeah stress will hurt me... thanks for not being a jerk in the slightest. I know I was asking for it. :) It's an error that also happened with Super Stardust HD.

Yeah sounds like we are in the exact same boat of failure... I tried that 3 times and no success.
try putting in a diffrent game to see if it will boot up then put uncharted back in (this will clear the temporary game cache)Mr_KMG
I wish I would have thought of that or wish you said it sooner because I'm already deleting my harddrive. It still has about 3 and a half hours... :( This. Better. Work.
