I have this habit of whenever i play a game, I get this feeling that i should always get Platinum trophy for it.
And when i can't get one trophy i get really frustrated that i'd hate the game too.
Can someone help me get over this habit?

I need help too. Trophies are preventing me to get some games simply because I may not like it and don't want its trophies to be implanted on my trophy list for an eternity. If only you could delete trophies I would be much more inclined to broaden my horizon. And I hate having trophies of games I have sold, it's as if the trophies are mocking me....
2 Possible Solutions to your problem
1) If you're having trouble with a trophy and you really insist on getting it, get help from a guide or FAQ. Trophies that you can't get because of skill are very rare.
2) Stop caring about Platinums. It's not a big deal if you get one or not. Personally, I usually just platinum RPGs and games I really like. RPGs because I'm a completionist and games I really like because well, they're games I like and it gives me something more to do
Sorry to hear that, I love trophies and wish I can get them all for every game but what comes first for me is enjoying the game then getting as many trophies I can possibly can the second time around. Enjoy the games that's what you buy them for!
I have to say this: did you purchase the video game for trophies or for the experience you're going to have with a particular title? I definitely don't let trophies affect my overall experience. In fact I'm not even aware of them until I hear that little *ding* sound informing me I just achieved such-and-such to which I respond "oh, cool" and continue playing;)
I do however understand where you're coming from because these trophies do bring a sense of accomplishment (sometimes even more rewarding than anending scene can provide) so I would definitely listen to those who recommend FAQs and I also recommend watching Youtube footage to see how it's done. Good luck in your platinum hunts;)
Seriously? Just enjoy the game for its own sake.I have this habit of whenever i play a game, I get this feeling that i should always get Platinum trophy for it.

Just buy a game for fun, trophies are when you wanna get every little bit out of your game, don't worry about them, as they can restrict you from enjoying your first playthrough, after finishing a game then hunt for them if you like, trophy guides help a lot, as they always have a Roadmap recommending you what to do on your 1st playthrough.
I don't have a problem with normal trophies that are achievable, But the online trophies suck ***. Most of them are ridiculous and they are the ones that annoy me.
I guess i'll try that; Next time i buy a game i'll never look at the trophies unitl i've played the whole game.

Then you will get pissed off when you see that you missed a few trophies that you could of easily got if you had looked at the list beforehand...and will need another playthrough to get.
Don't view the trophies beforehand. Helps a lotSecret-Face
unless the trophies are missable like in Assassins Creed Brotherhood, so its always good to try to check it for those kind of trophies
For me I like trophies but don't really concentrate on them so much through the first playthrough. If I find time I replay a game that I throughly liked and check out what trophies I am missing. I don't understand people though who just buy the game for the trophies.... I buy games that appeal to me for gameplay, storyline, characters, etc.-to enjoy
dont worry about it just do what everyone does, the first time just dont check the trophies (i know im curious too) and after the first playtrough go for the trophies, easy as that
I'm glad Nintendo haven't added trophies to their consoles. Let's hope it stays that way.Play on the Wii...
