Wired or wireless? Did you try to set up a network under Network Settings?

wired. i did that and it succeded in both the tests, then i kept saying no connection when i tried to update my system hardwareslippryPS3

Restart your PS3 next time and maybe the router if that's what you are wired into ..

try unplugging it and plugging it back in

it worked on southpark
