So i got a PS3 yestarday, i have a wireless router at my house and my Ps3 is supposed to automatically pick up my connection, so it picked up my network but when i go to network settings it asks for all this crap i dont know what it means such as my RNS i think it was called and PPoE and all this techie crap i dont understand how Sony expects any normal person to understand any of this. Where can i find alot of information or can someone break it down for me? Sorry I didn't go into too much detail over my problem but basically i really want my Ps3 online and I don't want to have to call my internet service provider. Can anyone help me or walk me through the process because I am really annoyed by the whole thing, they make it sound like boom plug your ps3 in, you're online but instead i have to go through this BS with all these abbreviaions i have never even heard of before.

Did you try the automatic set-up? It should gather all that info on its own.

you should have something to automatically detect those kinds of settings, however if your router is security enabled than you will need to log into it to get a password to get it online.
