I havent played final fantasy VII yet... though from what I hear, I really should. But I'm having a problem... moving. I can only use the d-pad... that would be fine, but it only does a very, very slow walk. I cannot use the analog stick. I figure it's because analog is turned off. So I turn it to "analog" and that disables the d-pad and doesn't do anything about the analog stick... any suggestions?

I think the game came out before sony implimented analog controls. I had the original residnent evil & analog wouldn't work because it was before analog controls too.So I bought the director's cut off eBay that came out like a year after the original and supported analog and now it works fine. But to be honest with you for these old games using the d-pad works better.

Now I cannot make internal memory cards. The ps3 just sits there, loading. I've left it on for about 10 minutes and it hasnt worked. Is it a glitch and I have to wait for the next update?

I haven't had any problems with internal ps1 or ps2 memory cards.... Took like 3 seconds to make them for me, anyways, I wouldn't care that much if I couldn't play ps1 games anymore, they're long outdated.

I used to be able to make them... however, when I tried to save in final fantasy VII, they wouldnt read them... so I tried putting them in slot one... the game froze up. After other attempts, I deleted this one and tried to make another one, but it freezes at the loading screen.

FFVII doesn't use the analog stick, only d-pad. Hold X to run.

No idea about the memory cards not creating.

So it appears no one else is having this problem. I guess I can contact sony about it, since it's just mine.
