strange you know i never checked mine when ever i noticed it was on. but yeah mine turns it self on all the dam time
remote start... Ive never heard of that option before. You dont just mean starting it by pressing the ps button on the controller do you??? Im guessing not, but perhaps if the remote start means start by another bluetooth device then perhaps that is it. I remember a feature in the BIOS of my old computer (I think all/most computers have this) where you get a 'start on ring' function, where if the phone rings the computer starts. The thing was is that I never knew about it and for about a month my computer just mysteriously started.... spooky (at the time that is).
I used to have this problem also. Its a router issue with the remote start function. They fixed most of the issues in the 2.01 firmware update though and I havent had it power up on its own since.

I still do. I just turned off the function since it was annoying.
Remote start is only a test feature, it isnt finished yet and will turn on your PS3 at odd occasions, its a well known issue as youd know if you bothered to use the search option.
well i have the same thing, but its not with PC, it was at random when i would go on iNet with psp, not even remote play, and then i look at screen and remote play was on :?
